The Bite Lip Set is sooooo pretty and the colours are the perfect neutrals on me. I'm a bit iffy on the lip gloss; it's gorgeous but it's a bit too much for everyday use for me.
wasn't this initially $30? I remember it being a nice price but it's $42 and I feel like that's higher than I initially thought.
Oh really? I'm not sure. I initially saw it on someone's IG and then I went straight to Sephora to order it.

Well, just ordered one.
By the way the highlighter code I posted about can be used more than once.
Also there are new 100 point perks, including a deluxe Becca Opal pressed.
I just tried out a deluxe sample Buxom mascara and I love it. Hoping it looks this good all day. Sigh, I really wish I could find a drugstore mascara I like as much as some of these highend ones. So far the only ones I like are Perversion, BTS and this Buxom one lol.

Have you tried any Maybelline ones? I really like The Rocket and Lash Sensational ones.

It's been a few years since I've used a Maybelline one but they're on the list to start trying. I'm just about done using my stash of deluxe samples finally. I've found I'm really picky about mascara and everything I like is higher end lol.
Okay, in daylight, the Gelato Multistick does NOT look good on me.
I'm going to try it as an eyeshadow or blush. I'm sad and I wish I can exchange it.
Since it's relatively neutral, can you mix it with something you already have? I know that's not ideal, but if you can't take it back maybe a little brown would help it. ETA: Oops, i was thinking it was Cashew, but I see it's more lilac. That's a tough one. Still, I'd see if there's some magical combination you can find that will soften the blow.

Try changing your shirt. I have some greige lipsticks that make me look like a zombie when I'm in neutral colors but if I put on hot pinks, magentas, purples, etc, they look amazing.

I like Maybelline full n soft. And the cover girl ones are pretty popular too, lash blast, clump crusher. I've never had luck with Loreal ones but I know others who have beautiful results with Voluminous and also Telescopic
I was up late so I went for the Ulta deal today - Brow Wiz for half price. I impulsively also got Becca primer. I've been wanting to try it for a long time, I feel like I should have waited for a points promo but oh well.
I'm excited! I haven't bought any makeup in months.

I really like Lash Blast (orange tube). My two main things about it: the brush is on the stiff side, which works for me and it's build-able. It doesn't look like much the first swipe but I can keep layering to get the effect I want.
So, I picked up a Makeup Revolution palette at Ulta because I was there and because I loved the name of it and whatever whatever...
I've only ever bought a blush from them before.
Both are striking me as OMGBBQAMAZING quality, especially for the price, and it seems like they're not necessarily a go-to brand...
Anybody have any experience with them, good or bad? They're about to supplant my favorite drugstore brands, and I want to know if there's a catch.
I don't think there's a catch. I was eyeballing their palettes before I declare a moratorium on shadow. I want the spice blush palette. I think they just don't have a big blogger freebie budget and theyre UK mostly so we don't hear about them. I think mrsukyankee recs them regularly.

there's a Beauty Broadcast that's all MR palettes, and I think she mentioned that one.
she organized by no-med-yes... it seems like the worst she had to say about them is (1) not as good as the Lorac Pro, (2) some of the shadow palettes have inconsistent quality, (3) some of the blush/highlighter palettes have colors that are too similar within the palette
the palette I got was Welcome to the Pleasuredome, and was one of her Yesses, and I'm in total agreement. It's a really nice palette.
mominatrix, yup - I LOVE MR! I have a blush palette which I use all the time and several of their palettes. Some of the colours don't have great payout but some of them are amazing. I have and love the following palettes:
Iconic 1 Mermaids v Unicorns (I don't use it often but it's great for colour) and one more I can't remember (I'm not at home)
Just back from Hong Kong. Didn't have as much time as I'd like to shop, but here's a list of what I did get:
12 Innisfree It's a Squeeze face masks (12 for the price of 10 - great deal for about £8) 2 Innisfree capsule recipe packs - volcanic cluster A bunch of samples from Innisfree Cosrx Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence Missha Time Revolution The First Treatment Essence Banila co. Clean it Zero Dr. Morita firming eye mask (recommended by person in shop) Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Lotion Biore Aqua Rich spf (new one)
My tarte order came in and I ended up with the Eye Love You palette and the Rainforest of the Sea eyeshadow palette. I'm returning the rainforest one, I've tried a few different primers but I think I'm just too oily for it. Dh and I went out last night and three hours later it looked like I'd been walking in the desert for hours.

My The Ordinary order came in! It's just The Buffet and the caffeine serum and I already tried them today.
I'm getting overwhelmed with all the skin products right now. I need to stop buying and stick to one thing and use it so I can see results.
I bought 4 things from there (Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%, Azelaic Acid Suspension 10%, Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5, and Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA) and I definitely started using them all as soon as I got it, lol. I'm pretty happy with it all so far. SaveSave
