i picked up the sephora sun safety kit when it launched on the app yesterday. i feel like it may have less products than in past years? but i'm not entirely sure. i was debating waiting until the sale starts, but went for it in case it sells out.

got two 100 point perks - YSL the shock mascara and devacurl buildup buster to try out. also used a code to get the IGK mistress hydrating hair balm. we will see what actually shows up in my box though!

now to build my cart for the sale...

i have not tried the comfort matte liquid but i have firebird from the gwen stefani line and i LOVE the color.  one of my faves.  #nothelping

I have the same thing right now. I added a $20 UD item to my cart and it told me I would earn 185 points for the purchase. 


My Canadian friend used my account while in NY yesterday so now I just need 40 more points to hit $125 off. Not sure what I want but I need to figure it out before the next 20% of prestige coupon.

Points have always stacked for me.  It's also my anniversary month.  Apparently lots of us started shopping at Ulta in April! 

I wish I needed something from UD to get the points.  But I am also sitting on 2000 points right now, so I can't justify spending money on makeup to get more points.

smashbox photo finish?!  really?!?!?  that's as bad as ulta's constant sampling of benefit porefessional.  it seems like such an old product to include in this box that's supposed to be about sampling the latest new stuff.

I spent $77 with one UD purchase (concealer).

This is how I ended up with 2000 points in February after spending like $300.  If you time your purchases right, you can get some amazing deals.

I'm excited for the ExfoliKate but otherwise meh on the Play box. Also, Sephora screwed up my last set of samples (more perfume that I HATE) so I'm really irritated with them today.

I really love Exfolikate. I should just buy the full-size but $$$. I bought a small tube during the holidays and I'm almost out so I'm looking forward to this one too. I hope it's a good size!

Dammit, dammit, dammit! Bite discontinued their Lush Lip Tint line at some point in the last few months, and I'm down to less than 1/3 tube of my very favorite tinted balm ever. Between this and Burburry discontinuing two of my favorite shades AND my favorite formula, 2017 has been a shit makeup year for me.

The mask.

The balm is a tiny amount for the pric, and is basically expensive chapstick. I haven't tried it, but I've seen some awful reviews of it.

The mask is really emollient. It's good as a night treatment and feels luxurious going on. It's amazing, especially in the winter.

I really love the balm! I use it every morning. Both have lanolin in them, so try them before buying since lanolin allergies are pretty common.

I'll probably get the mask next just for variety.
