WTF! For some reason my eyes aren’t liking false lashes. No matter what the inner corner keeps coming unglued. I’ve been using tarte’s lash glue for years with no problems. Any suggestions for a great lash glue?
Does anyone have a Viseart Theory palette? I just saw EmilyNoel83's video review and now I'm drooling over them.
Yes I have Minx (the copper/rose one). It's one of my most used palettes. The quality is divine and the colors are gorgeous. Plus it's the perfect palette for a weekend trip.
This is the one I ordered and it arrived today. It's gorgeous and swoon worthy!

Yay!!!!!! The copper color is probably my favorite eyeshadow on the planet. I am so glad you got it!!
Ulta opens at 7am so I stopped on my way to work and got the Chocolate Gold palette. I have way too much makeup that I never wear but I just couldn't resist.
I think this is the first eye shadow palette I have bought all year!

I cashed in my Ulta points yesterday! I got 2 Buxom glosses, a Smashbox lipstick, MAC concealer, Anastasia brow pomade + brow brush, some Batiste travel sprays, Too Faced Lip Insurance, an UD 24/7 liner, and Tarteist lip paint. After a 20% off coupon + 2,000 points I paid $25. Merry Christmas to me!
I tried out an apple cider vinegar rinse because I had some scalp irritation. I had never used an apple cider vinegar rinse, and I was skeptical that I would not need conditioner but decided to give it a go for purposes of trying to clear up whatever was going on with my scalp.
OMG you guys. My hair feels incredible. It's so soft and shiny and silky. Then I added a little bit of B&B invisible oil and I swear, my hair has never felt this good.
I might be banishing expensive hair care products in 2018.

Did you buy a rinse or just use straight vinegar? Do you have to let it sit for a while?

Straight vinegar. I read online a tablespoon of vinegar to a cup of water. I've done it twice. On Wednesday I measured. Today I did not. I recommend measuring because my hair smells a big vinegary today, whereas on Wednesday it didn't. The first thing I did when I got in the shower was washed my hair, then slowly worked in the vinegar, and clipped my hair up. I then did the rest of my shower routine but didn't shave my legs, so at least a few minutes but unlikely more than 5. Then rinsed it out.
I'm thinking of buying that 15 year supply of real techniques sponges from Ulta. Iv'e got an extra 20% off coupon, which would make it $24 for 12 sponges. They are sold out on the website, but my store has a metric assload of them.

I really wanted Sephora to carry the foundation and the 30% peel, but no dice yet. I already have everything that they are selling that I want (which is about 1/3 of the offerings!)

H hates when I wear “unnatural” lip colors. I want to wear a red lip tonight for a party we are going to. I was looking through my lipsticks last night and he asked me if I had a light red to wear not the bold red, umm no. I think he can suck it and I’m totally wearing the bold red.

Rock that bold red! My H made a comment once about my purple lipstick so when ever he's pissing me off I go full bright purple lol.
I got quite a few lip products I really like after watching Emily Noel’s end of year lip products review. She has a few end of year videos, you guys should check her out if you’re interested. I’m surprised she doesn’t have more subscribers!
Also I’m like $100 short of making platinum at Ulta...is it worth it? I feel like maybe I should stock up on staples to make it just so my points won’t expire.
Is there a way to check if my H used my Sephora card to earn points on a gift he gave me? Related, is there a way to retroactively get points if he didn’t?

On the app look at the Beauty Insider section on your account and there's a recent activity list. I would guess it's similar on the website. If they won't retroactively apply points you could probably do a 'return' and rebuy it in store.

Points not expiring you earn them faster and you get better/more coupons (theoretically)and the occasional early access or exclusive sale price.
I got a ton of things since in my ILs gift exchange my Sephora loving SIL had me and did a great job! The tarte blush palette which I cannot wait to use. A philosophy set with face wash and their blackhead removing mask and a caudiale mini mask set along with a beauty blender. Woooo!!
Then I saw the notice about Sephora’s sale on sale (extra 20%) and used that to pick up the three pack of beauty blenders for a steal. Even though I just got a new one they will last just fine and might as well get them at a great price - 3 for 27 bucks is amazing. Also grabbed a coverfx set with the highlighting drops I’ve been wanting to try and a set of living proof minis. I’m now rouge for what’s left of this year and next. They had some good deals and new colourpop stuff in the sale section too. Code is SALEONSALE for anyone interested!

Worth it, especially because Ulta is running a points promo this week — 3x for regular and 5x for platinum.
FYI the Sephora systems appear to be really jacked up today. I went in to get my gifts added to my Beauty Insider account, which theoretically happened since it moved my status from BI to VIB (I had been $40 away), but my points remained the same. I just pulled up the app and now it says I’m $32 away from Rouge. There is no way that is accurate since my H didn’t buy me hundreds of dollars of cosmetics. Soooooo ??
Does anyone use a sticky type primer for either face or eyes that they recommend? The only primers I've used are silicone based, and I want to try something to keep the foundation on my nose. I feel like I've asked this before but I don't remember :/
No makeup presents but I did get Diors J'adore perfume from my DH and I love it! This was the winner out of all the makeup samples I used up this past year. Bonus the free robe from Ulta is actually really nice too lol. I do have some Christmas money burning a hole in my pocket right now though.

The only one that I know about is the J. One Jelly Pack. It’s a love it or hate it product. Sephora will give you a sample, but it’s much cheaper on Amazon.
