fryjack2, I'm bumping this thread again and hoping you've gotten you Peloton and are loving it. Because of this thread and after months of being on the fence and obsessing I've finally decided to order a Peloton this week! I feel like I should use your referral code if you want to PM with it.

I did finally get it a month ago! I’ve been on it at least 3-4 times a week. And I use the strength and meditation videos on the app at least 5 times a week. I didn’t think I’d like it as much as I do, but I’m part of the cult now
I didn’t get a referral code. I don’t think. I used a healthcare worker discount so I’m not sure o was given one.

What a timely bump. I got my Schwinn IC4 in May and was using it inconsistently (I was in a pandemic funk and just wasn't in the right headspace, I guess). Since earlier this month I subscribed to the Peloton app to use on an iPad with my bike and now I'm part of the cult lol. I know there are certain bells and whistles I'm missing out on without the actual Peloton bike, but I'm getting so much out of my bike and I really love the sheer amount and types of classes in the app. I feel so good doing these workouts!

I’m part of the cult too. For me it’s the ability to do short classes that sold me. Yesterday I did a 20 minute ride in the morning while the girls were watching a show, 10 minutes shoulders and arms while dinner cooked, 10 minute foam rolling after the girls went to bed and a sleep meditation when I went to bed.

I've been really happy with my Schwinn + Peloton app.
I am really surprised at myself that I can get an Orange Theory equivalent effort at home.

Quoting because I have the Bowflex version of the IC4 and love it. I love the Peloton app, but really enjoy Zwift as well and I want to try Les Mills. I don't miss the power metric or showing up on the leaderboard (I've only taken 2 live rides anyway), so for me it's definitely been worth it.

I'm in the IC4/C6 group on FB and they seem to rave about Zwift and Les Mills too. Meanwhile I'm like omg one program at a time because even Peloton has a ton of different workouts and I feel like I have to do them allllllll lol. But I'm sure I may need a change one day and can use the others too.

Ha, I know! Zwift is fun, but I tend to stick with Peloton because I get really upset if I mess up my daily streak lol

I don't go here, but saw this thread get bumped. I'm in that FB group, too. So far I am sticking to Peloton because even as an app user (IC4) I am motivated by the badges. I started following @aarmy on IG and it looks very enticing. I guess its nice to have options? I finally ventured out of cycling and did my first bootcamp class (Jess Sims 8/8) and it exceeded my expectations! I expected the treadmill sections to be boring, but they went by very fast.

I’m going to have to check out Zwift. I am currently subscribed to Studio Sweat and I LOVE their classes so much more than Peloton. The Peloton instructors annoyed me for some reason. I also feel like I get a better workout. 🤷🏼♀️
