We drove out into the more middle section of PA today and the number of Trump 2024 signs was wild. These are people that are loyal to Trump and only Trump- if he didn’t run at all then they’d happily vote for Desantis, but if Trump spends a year tearing him down, giving him shitty nicknames, making wild accusations, etc, they’re going to eat it right up and no way will they just flip their vote if Trump doesn’t win the primary. I might actually enjoy watching the whole situation implode.

This, too, is what I long for. Trump and desantis are both revered here in Florida. Should be a shit show. It is scary as hell this is all we can come up with on both tickets. I thought Biden had said one term and he’d turn it over. I don’t think Harris is going to beat trump or desantis at this point either but Yeesh.

I don’t know. He certainly talked about it in 2019 before he was elected. Not that it’s binding or anything but it’s not totally out of the blue that people think that.

Is it normal to announce this early? I genuinely can't remember in past years, and I usually assume everything he does is for attention and distraction for something else. PLEASE send him to prison before this goes any further.

Lawrence O'Donnell just said on his show it is the earliest announcement ever, most likely in the hopes to avoid prosecution.
