It's weird that he's so much further away from the shield than the others. Like he did it on purpose so people couldn't compare their heights.

I saw some people on social media saying the photo was a fake and it’s an old photo, photoshopped on the mugshot background. All the news sources are reporting it as the mugshot photo. I refused to click on any links or watch any live coverage leading up to it because that’s what dumpster fire wants, but once the mugshot was posted, I went to msnbc, cnn, faux news, etc. I like to see the contrast between all of them on big news day and faux news said the mugshot was posted by him on X-Twitter as his first post since being banned. Can anyone confirm it’s a fake or that any news sources got a photo from police? I can definitely believe a narcissist would do that. It’s an awful photo but he probably thinks it’s good, he can control it, he can troll all the news sources, and take credit for it…

Eta: MSNBC says the mugshot was released by the sheriffs office. Maybe the other photo was a fake or that’s his “blue steel” pose 😂

Also, Faux news says DeSatan was the winner of the debate 👿

There was a fake going around where his hair was darker and he looked even more orange. But the lighter hair appears to be the real one.

If I remember, one thing that called this into question was a photo of him standing next to Trudeau who is 6’2” and Trump is shorter.

Re Hatch Act, there are different rules for political appointees with respect to their restrictions. But, as a general schedule employee, my take away from annual training is no discussing stuff at work (like, I probably should not be here during the workday), no pictures if candidate or campaign merch in your cube (one small bumper sticker allowed on a car in the parking lot, but it has to be reasonable), and never never ever, on or off the clock, ask for campaign money.

I was chatting with my neighbor yesterday, he is an R and an attorney (note, estates). Made the mistake of bringing up the perp walk and got a lecture on constitutional law and how this is a witch hunt because of hunter biden. Something about ever indictment follows a hunter something. 🙄 Sadly, I have not been following everything enough to counter anything. I just said let’s make a pact to never talk politic again. Guy isn’t a MAGA, or at least I don’t think so. He has said crap about trump before, and he is definitely not a Q-MAGA. But, I will say it was interesting to hear what I thought was a sane republican spouting stuff that I thought was only MAGA.

I just started watching the Netflix series Working which is produced by the Obama. He is showing his office with a record player and talks about how he’s known to play his music loud on his record player in his office. He said he didn’t have a record player in the Oval Office cause he didn’t want to do anything that might be looked at negatively essentially. The man couldn’t even play music on a record player without getting judged! And here we have Trump who has now been arrested and (I think) is leading the polls for Republican nominee :/

I honestly haven’t been following anything to do with Trump, so what are people saying about him being arrested and charged and becoming the Republican nominee??

I think it's possible he was 6'2 and a whisper, which he rounded to 3" when he was young and actually knew how to stand up straight.  Now he's old and has weird posture and is really obviously NOT actually that tall.  

It amuses me to no end that so many men do this though.  I love those man on the street style things I see on the reels/tiktoks/whatever sometimes where a guy approaches dudes on the street and asks how tall they are, and then whips out a measuring tape and checks it.  The faces on the fibbers when he pulls out the tape are priceless.

I'm not giving the asshole a pass, believe me, but I could see where when he was younger, perhaps he was 6'3" but has shrunk.

I still tell people I'm 5'8" but one of my doctors has me at 5'6", and another at 5'7" (and I'm only 45 years old).

But 215 is laughable. No way is he male, half a foot taller than I, and weighs only five pounds more! Lol 4ever

Someone on ABC Streaming said it looked like the author image on one of his books, and when someone told him he looked angry in the book photo, he said he was told to "stare down the camera." The anchor said it seems he tried to do the same thing here.

They also said the prosecuter will likely try to introduce the mug shots into evidence, and it's bad for Trump that his expression makes him look like someone who'd be involved in a racketeering case.

I always think about how Obama got so much media criticism for wearing a tan suit and Michelle was criticized for wearing something sleeveless.

I think the R reaction is their typical playbook of accusing the Dems of doing what the R’s are actually doing, talking about Biden’s “authoritarian” Gov’t and the abusive, corrupt justice system with their overzealous prosecutors.

I'm pretty sure that's a redo of a sports thing, but my pub trivia was totally derailed last night when it dropped. Game stopped, sports ball channel changed.
