To be honest, it’s been tough to open IG because of the way the algorithm works, 90% of what I see is the horrors happening in Palestine and it hasn’t been good for my mental health. I know that is nothing compared to what the people there are experiencing but it has amplified my feeling of helplessness and hopelessness and impacting all other parts of my life.
But anyway, those are some other suggestions.

I still do not understand how supporting a ceasefire can lead to you being labeled antisemetic, lose your job, and have your life threatened, but backing a government that is actively proudly committing a genocide and starving millions of people is a-ok. The cruelty is just unfathomable. Israel's government (and honestly, seems like a lot of its people) thinks nothing of killing Palestinians for literally existing. Anytime their actions are ones that anyone with a brain can see is not ok, they make up some excuse like, "we thought he had a knife." to try to be the victim and justify what they have done. Report after report comes out of the atrocities the IDF does to civilians, of the f'd up laws in the West Bank, of the illegal settlement expansion and so much more and they are ignored or negated or downplayed. And then Palestinians are made to look like the bad people?

Every news outlet is describing what happened yesterday as Israeli forces firing on innocent civilians -the ones Israel is forcibly starving- trying to get aid from the few trucks let in. Except Biden who is reviewing "conflicting reports about what happened." WTF.

Israel's government could drop a nuclear bomb on Gaza because its "defending itself" and the world would still stay silent. How anyone can continue to support what is happening, no matter where you are from or what religion you are, is mind boggling.

There has been a boycott (countrywide), where I live, against sbux and mcd because of their percieved support of Israel.

I don't know of its efficacy, but one McD has closed, and the other doesn't opoen until noon. I've been told this wasn't anti Isreal wbut rather anti American, a proxy war, while they chomp on theif KFC.

Israel said it was coordinating this private contractor delivery in that article. I think that’s why speculations are circling that say Israeli Gov/IDF essentially lured and targeted civilians.

Organizations like Doctors Without Borders are saying their members are starving and eating pet food and mud cakes. And reports that the flour being handed out from unclear sources have poisoned people.

Sorry, but I wouldn’t blame anyone who thinks aid being delivered from an Israeli government source would be highly suspect. But the starving people are desperate.

Kind of shit, though isn’t it? Supplying bombs and weapons to kill people and then when 30k are dead and rest are experiencing famine to start an attempt to get aid in? But only if Netanyahu,who the Us government seems incapable of convincing to show an ounce of humanity, allows it?
