Apparently they asked for 30 extra minutes to fill out some forms and the theory is that they wouldn’t have done that for a full acquittal.
I have also seen that we shouldn’t be surprised if the first ten counts are acquittals because those are the checks one of his sons signed. So don’t lose hope if it starts out that way.

Ok- I really think we need (DESERVE) a new thread if there' a guilty verdict.... Do we have an ETA? I think if it was a hung jury, it would be longer...I feel like we're going to be getting some guiltys today!

20 minutes ago they said they had a verdict and asked for 30 minutes to complete forms.
"Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you've got a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies-"God damn it, you've got to be kind.”

I took my eyes off the news for an hour! I definitely had an emotional / physical reaction. Finally a consequence for decades of deplorable behavior from Don the Con.
Also in the news an Apprentice contestant’s 20 year NDA expired and he’s speaking out about the racist things he heard the worst businessman ever say.
Do we have any lawyers or Law and Order lawyers who can tell us what the possible sentencing might be?
Law & Order lawyer who listens to lawyers on podcasts. Maximum sentence is 4 years, but these charges TYPICALLY only get probation, or less than a year.
Unusual circumstances, blah blah, blah.
I would honestly be shocked if he got jail time. A generic defendant with the same charges/circumstances would not be given jail time, when this is the first conviction. But...he's Trump.
