Our Biden sign was stolen last time so I hand painted one. Then one day a neighbor who I didn’t know previously came by with a brand new one for us.
So you never know! We’re in a very red state as well.
An encouragement for those who live in “very red” states…Wyoming is the reddest, but even there, it’s about 70% in my quick Google search. That means 3 out of every 10 voters you meet are NOT! Tennessee is the 10th and that was 60% of voters. You have a 40% chance of your neighbors also agreeing with you, but they are afraid to speak up, too. So put those signs in the yard if you’d like…and you just might inspire others to do the same! Our country is not NEARLY as “red/blue” as people would like you to think!
I'm not brave enough to put up a sign, but wanted to share the great news of how few Trump signs there are in my neighborhood compared to 2020. (There aren't any signs for anyone.)

Even if you’re not putting up signs, make sure you’re working to help get out votes in other ways. There are so many ways to contribute to a Harris-Walz win!
Can anyone help me with a website I can sign up to text voters? I did it a few years ago, but I can't remember the name.
I wish I could write the postcards, but I can't afford the postage.
Vote Forward is letters in envelopes, not just postcards, but they offer Letter Kits for those who are unable to obtain the postage on their own but want to help! I personally received stamps from this program previously, but they also have a limited number of full kits with the printed letters (you still hand write in a few blank spaces), envelopes, and stamps if that would enable you to participate

Their texting program is closed because they are fully booked with volunteers, but a new one opens September 3rd. I will keep my eye out. Thanks so much!

We got a sign today! I'd tell MN people where to go but they were running low and I think it's over today. We had multiple people ask us where we got our signs (yard sign and a couple paper hand signs) on our way back to the car. So we will be putting it up tomorrow! I'm excited!

Harris Leads Trump in Three Key States, Times/Siena Polls Find New surveys of Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania taken this week offer the latest indication of a dramatic reversal in standing for the Democratic Party since President Biden abandoned his re-election bid.
Trumpy must be big mad at how many people attended the Harris Walz Nevada rally. I've seen estimates ranging from 12k to 17k.
I’m sure he is. I listened to a few minutes of his news conference the other day (all I could stand) and he was ranting about how the media is making a big deal out of 1000 people at a Harris rally. LOL. I knew it wasn’t true but again, LOL

I found these parts at the end shocking. I would not want to be a pollster.
"Interviewers spoke with 619 registered voters in Michigan and 661 registered voters in Wisconsin from Aug. 5 to 8, and 693 registered voters in Pennsylvania from Aug. 6 to 9."
The poll was done by phone, 90% cell phones.
And..."For this poll, interviewers placed more than 237,000 calls to nearly 118,000 voters."
So to talk to ~2000 people they had to make over 200k calls. Good lord.
cville, That’s why I have no faith in any polls anymore. The vast majority of people in my demographic don’t answer calls from unknown numbers. My parents would never ignore a phone call!

This. I literally never answer my phone unless I'm expecting a call or it's a few specific people!
I worked a couple phone jobs, one was telefundraising and the other was collections, both between about 2008-2012. I often dozed off a bit listening to the ringing all day. It was so boring. At least for the first one, I was in college so I was able to study and do homework. The other job I couldn't do anything!

If they left a message I'd call back... but they'll never call me because I'm in central WA state.

I get texts and calls for the polls regularly (in CA) but I don't always answer, depending on what's going on. Half the time I don't qualify when I do answer because I serve an appointed role for an elected official so they end the call as soon as I mention it.

I answer polls for Gallop. I live in Massachusetts, right outside of Boston.
Recently, I have answered questions about work life balance, the federal govt, and American foreign policy. Typically it is done over email/text but sometimes it is over the phone.

Last week I got one that was clearly trying to find JFK’s niche, lol. They kept asking me who I would vote for in a two-way race between Kennedy and Trump, Kennedy and Biden, Kennedy and Harris, Kennedy and a generic Republican, etc.
Hmm, this could explain the uptick in unknown number calls I've been getting on my cell (I'm in AZ).
My parents are getting a ton in PA. I assume they are targeting those swing states hard to get a read on people's opinions.
In a 30 minute facetime call with my parents they got 4 political calls, both polling and asking for votes. It will ring on the house phone and then on a cell phone. It's driving them crazy.
Not I. I have moved two states and continued to keep my number issued in 04.
Now I get political calls and texts for three states.
That’s so interesting! I lived in FL for the 2008 election, MA for the 2012 election, and IL for 2016 and 2020 and only get IL.
My area code is definitely not where I live now, but I have answered the phone for polling and it's been for the correct location. Most recently asking me who I planned to vote for in our senate race.
I just participated in a Dead Heads for Kamala official DNC live event and it was delightful! We raised $40K, and I’m sure it would have been more but they didn’t plug the merch until end - lol! deadheadsforkamala.com/ Kamala’s wearing a lightening bolt pendant and tie dye - ❤️❤️❤️❤️
