What is everyones thoughts on Kamala not sitting down for an interview yet? Of course the R's have raised this and now the media has to tag along and bring it up on a daily basis. Trump and team are freaking out because there is nothing that can stick to her. So now they need an interview so they can make something or anything a "thing". I don't think anything is gonna stop her surge. What could she possibly say that is gonna make someone say never mind I am voting for Trump.

I mean, seriously - and I know I’m preaching to the choir here - but the media needs to have several seats. They have largely spent the last 10 years doing everything they can to help destroy democracy. They have shrugged their shoulders at a lying, hateful, felonious, wannabe dictator and been an active participant in tearing down his competitors - from Hillary’s emails to Biden’s age. Even now, they refuse to call out Trump’s lies, his bigotry, and his nonsensical word salad and then they want Kamala to sit down with them for an interview when all they do is ask her for a response to the bullshit he spews?

FUCK no. She has enough platforms she can use to get her messaging out, she cares about her constituents, and she is actively campaigning on a solid platform, which is more than we can say about Trump.

The media is compromised and they can fuck all the way off.

My thoughts are who cares? This is a Republican talking point used to discredit her. I think the voters know enough about her positions on the issues. I’m sure she’ll do plenty of interviews between now and the election.

Also, they want it to be a close election. That's more clicks and views for them. I don't care if I seem a cynical conspiracy theorist to say that's a lot of the reason behind not reporting on his utter insanity and whining she's doing it her way. There are great journalists in media, and I know they want to do the right thing, and they think they're doing it, but corporate overlords are still going to lord over.

The whole interview thing is a non-issue. The Rs did this with Obama, HRC, Biden, and now Harris. And, as always, it's generally untrue or we are well within the acceptable and normal "interview" period.

I love garlic and chili, but the idea that they make for "spicy" food is kind of hilarious. Maybe if you ate a raw garlic clove dipped in chili powder?

I once went to a restaurant and ordered a dish - our waiter who was originally from Mexico warned me that it was a little bit spicy because it had red peppers in it. I died when it came out and it was red bell peppers and not at all spicy.

Maybe she should completely pivot and do something fun like “Hot Ones,” where she can answer policy questions while eating spicy wings. Talk to Teen Vogue. Do podcasts. Hang out with “The Real Housewives of Potomac.” I know these sound like lightweight options, but are any of these suggestions less weighty than Harris’ opponent, who bleats lies and racism on his own app, or his approved media partners who go on about Harris’ laugh, dating history and heritage?
