I don't understand how lip palettes work. How do you reapply while you're out? Do you take the whole thing?
Yeah. I don't get those large ones at all. Because lipstick never stays long on my lips. I can't throw a 6 pan lip palette in my clutch.
I do like the inglot lipstick square pans. But you can move the one you need to take out in a little single square case. Then I have ecotool lip brushes that have covers on them.
For those of you who bought KVD's Chimps liquid lipstick, what are your thoughts? I wore it last week and noticed the performance was not the same as the other KVD liquid lip colors I have. It wore off really quickly around the inside of the lips and when I went to reapply, any overlapped areas got clumpy/dark.
So I'm on the fence with The malls eye shadow sticks. They don't really seem that much different than elf's smudge pots and are way more expensive. I do like how they're in a stick though but not sure that is worth the extra $$.
trying to decide which one(s) to put in my cart...
OMG I WANT THE GLOW ONE
I never ended up getting the Becca Rose Quartz because I had too many other purchases last week. Maybe it's a sign that me and this kit are meant to be.

I was just coming in here to talk about the Sephora favorites kits. I really like the glow one, but my skin never needs oil, so I'm not sure about a couple of the items in it. I always love the give me lip sets and the trending sets look fun too. I wonder if the $75 one will replace the $99 superstars one they do every year?

It's a pretty good deal, even if you don't want to the oil. The Lancome is full size, and alone costs $30. Making everything else bonus...
Can you see how I'm trying to talk myself into the glow kit?

Agreed. The full size Hourglass highlighter is $38. This one is a smaller size, but I'll still never finish a pan of it.
Between that and the Lancome one, it's worth it to me. Both are highly rated by Temptalia.
I think I'm going to get it. The code situation right now kind of sucks though. I might wait it out a couple more days.
So I received my FabFitFun box and Sephora Play within a couple of days of each other. The FFF mostly sucked. Actually, so did the Play. Ironically, both came with clear brow gel. One was Anastasia and I can't remember the other. But I tried one and I don't get it. It did nothing for me really. Does anyone use clear brow gel? What do you like about it?

The code situation is the ONLY reason I haven't pulled the trigger. They all suck (why is everything OOS so fast right now?). So I'm waiting for something of interest....

I believe it's used to keep your brows in place after you've filed them in.

Yeah, I use a clear gel to help maintain "flyaways." I have pretty fairly thick, coarse eyebrows so the strands are easily led astray and the gel helps keep them in place.

I've used it on and off. My brows can get a little wild so the gel just means I don't worry about them being messy. It also makes them a little glossy so it's extra polish.

I'm practicing makeup for my headshot on Thursday. I'm still debating what look I'm doing. Also, clothing-wise, jacket or no? wawaSallyJ what do you think? Although in different roles, we're still in the same industry. I'm 85% leaning towards a jacket. People's images on LinkedIn are all over the place, many get a side eye from me. For example, a VP of a local firm has an image of a deer as his headshot...

I prefer to wear something that is very me vs. what is viewed as 'most professional'. This might include my funky glasses, or flowers in my hair, a fantastic broooh on a fun colored blazer, or a strong patterned shirt. Go with what you look best in!

Agree with the something very "you." I like to wear a jacket - I think I look good in them, they suit me, I feel good wearing them. So I wore one.

DAMN IT
I was going to order it today even if there were no good codes.
Same!
It's off the site too, no e-mail notification. But I'm going to stalk a little bit, sometimes they come back... And I checked in store but no out of stock.

Soooooo, I ordered it yesterday. I had it in my cart and they sent me an email saying order before it's gone - which I thought was just a ploy (that worked) to get me to order it. I guess they weren't kidding. I used the it illuminating under eye concealer code since it was better than nothing. If I see it pop back up on the website, I'll let you guys know!
