God, it's so weird that they keep running the commercials like nothing happened. "Christmas in OUR HOUSE is nuts!!" Who's "our"? Just you and the kids?
Jumping back into this thread to share how super awkward it was running into her in line at our local grocery store. Where 2 of 3 magazines have her story plastered on the front cover and she was standing right in front of it. Our daughters know each other from school and soccer so they were making small chat.
I feel bad for her actually. She may be a bitch but family and marital issues shouldn't be paparazzi candy.

I agree--omg, awkward. I can't remember if you said you guys were friendly or not on your own, or just that your kids share mutual activities.
Did you talk to her at all? Not that she's going to spill any kind of tea, but I wouldn't wish being pap'i fodder on anyone.

Yeah this is shame on HGTV. I don't care how much it cost to film the commerical in the first place, give the family some peace!
I'm so surprised HGTV is still running the same commercials like nothing's happened. I just watched one where they cuddle their kids and talk about their favorite Christmas traditions. Understand they want to promote the new season but geez.
I wouldn't have noticed this if it hadn't been pointed out (and I have never seen 10 seconds of their show or heard of these people) - but in the commercial, they are never in the same shot. It's really obvious that they were filmed separately and then edited to make it look like the whole family was there together.

She is not a social chick whatsoever, so no. Our kids chatted and she just continued to unload her cart of food onto the belt. Zero contact with me. Maybe glanced for a split second. This doesn't surprise me at all though. She was this way at soccer and school as well. An air of "above you" is her vibe.
