starryfish are you combo feeding? That was around the point both of my girls really struggled with going back and forth from boob to bottle, likely coincided with a growth spurt. Bottle = easier so boob made them angry. Definitely get evaluated for ties.
No I only used formula last night and this morning for my sanity. She usually doesn't like bottles.

My baby has been screaming when I offer my boob to feed her about 1/2 the time the past 1-2 days. She will take a bottle of formula (1 oz only). Anyone have an idea what's wrong?

Hugs mpc. I ended up with preeclampsia so feel free to PM me about it if you end up with it. It really wasn't too bad
S is two months old and went on her first flight this weekend and did great! So excited as she has two flights next month. My husband flies a lot for work and has companion pass on SW. So I get to fly free all year with him. We are going to Vegas in two weeks for a work conference for him. S is "talking" so much lately!!!
oneslybookworm, I refuse to do it!!I just cannot fathom the idea that this will actually work out so I am having a really hard time looking at baby stuff still.
cactuscookie, we are 16+4. I just want to be at the point that 1) I can feel him move and 2) we have the ultrasound and KNOW everything is ok in there.
Yeah, I figure, it's going to suck either way. Me having or not having clothes won't make it suck less.
This was my attitude, I let myself enjoy the fun part of shopping for clothes.
We went to the pedi GI this morning for S. Doctor doesn't want to do anything for her right now except continue the antibiotics and monitor her. She's gaining weight good. I'm happy she doesn't need surgery right now but also sad she won't get better for a while.
She's a happy baby and I'm stil so in love wit her!!!
I was put on work from home status at 31 or 32 weeks? It was due to swelling and my BP increasing. I was at high risk for PreE so she was very cautious about handling me. I did multiple 24hr urines too. Not bad on the weekends to do. PM me if you want to chat, hope your urine comes back normal!
I posted on MM but baby S had a gi X-ray today and she has pyloric stenosis and possibly something else. Going to see a pedi GI next. Just scary bc it might mean surgery. Poor baby, breaks my heart.
Other then the projectile spitup she is a happy baby! She is smiling more lately!
My son had it and had surgery at 6 weeks. He recovered great and is now a healthy 11 year old. I remember the dr saying it's more common in boys and preemies ( he was a preemie).
Interesting about the premies. My baby was born 4w early.
How was surgery? Just seems so scary for such a little baby!
My baby girl (7w old) had an upper gi X-ray today and they found this but she has a weird case and also is literally full of gas. We go to A pedi GI apt next.

So sorry you had to go through that! I had preeclampsia and ended up in the ER 13 days after she was born bc we thought the eclampsia was back. I was so miserable. Luckily it wasn't that, but they gave me drugs that made me feel so much better.

We traveled with S this weekend for the first time. She's 5w old and traveled really well. It was a 8 hour car trip. She got to meet my DH family and they loved meeting her! I still can't believe she is my baby!
I had issues with BFing this weekend where I had a whole bunch of clogged ducts this weekend. I get home and they are all gone. Can it be caused by stress?
Our story is a bit different in that we have MFI, however I've also experienced RPL. After six years of IF (I have a 7 year old conceived with the help of a RE) we tried some cooling underwear and got pregnant immediately. Like you, I was shocked. $80 underwear fixed our problem when we were told IVF was our only option. I'm actually still shocked and my baby is nearly here.
It all messes with me and I envy women with carefree pregnancies. Congrats on your pregnancy!!!!
We love carnival but have also traveled RC and like them too.
What Port do you live by? We live by Galveston and cruise multiple times a year. We love carnival bc they have the most ships here, are the cheapest and love their amenities.
We are near Galveston as well.
I take Dramamine when I fly but it knocks me out cold. That probably won't work. I will do some quick reading on the patch!
Feel free to PM me. We cruise multiple times a year and love it! It's really reasonable to cruise out of Galveston!
