How have her naps been? I bet all the change in routine is affecting things. What do you do when she wakes up? Does she take a paci?
Naps have been ok, normal. I usually feed her when she wakes. She normally only eats for 5-8 mins in MOTN but this week she has eaten double that. Growth spurt? Doesn't really take a paci
What is she sleeping in? Crib? RnP? Something else? Are you swaddling her? If the crap sleep is recent, have you ruled out something like an ear infection?
RnP or cradle bouncer. She hasn't started daycare yet, will on Monday. We haven't swaddled in forever.
She is teething. She has a top tooth that broke through last week. It's been this week that sleep is worse

My baby just turned 3m and this week she has slept horribly. She was never the greatest sleeper but I could get 3 hours usually at a time. Now I get 3-4 hours the first stretch (sometimes less), but then after that she is up every 1-2.5 hours. It's exhausting and I just went back to work today. Any tips?

mpc I got the steroid shots at that same time, I was 34+4! I asked for it bc I knew she wasn't going to make it to 37w. My BP at that time was in the 140s consistently. I ended up getting induced at 36+1 and glad I got the shots bc she didn't have to go to the nicu at all. Definitely monitor your BP at home. Good luck! Glad they are being very cautious.
We are back from being out of town for 12 days in Vegas and Detroit. Glad to be back home. I go back to work on Thursday and S starts daycare!!!! Trying to enjoy my last days of leave.

Usually 3 bras.
My question: for Breast milk sitting in the fridge, mine gets like heavy cream sticking to the sides. When I want to use it, do I just shake it up to try to get that back in the bottle? I hope that makes sense.
midwest07 , yeah, that makes sense. I don't mind keeping the cargo box for vacation travel. I'm trying to hit the sweet spot of something that is still reasonably sized and doesn't feel like a total land yacht for normal use. I figure if the SUV accommodated 1 kid/2 dogs on vacation without cargo box, it would handle 2 kids/2 dogs with cargo box? Roughly? We will need to look critically at space though. My cousin had a Sequoia, and it always seemed so big! But her family of 4 found it really comfortable.
I have a '16 Highlander. I don't think you could do 1 kid/2 dogs on vacation unless you pack light. Like 2 suitcases total in the 2nd row.
Hey all! S and I are in Vegas accompaning my DH on his work trip. We were supposed to get here tomorrow but arrived yesterday at super last minute( DH came home at 930am and told me to finish packing as we had to get to Vegas that day). We left in 20 minutes it was crazy! Lots of running!
S is so cute in the mornings! So talkative and fun! She is currently in love with her kick n play piano mat.
We are here in Vegas for a week and I will have a lot of alone time with S. Any suggestions?
Question about the Keekaroo. Do you still need to get a changing pad holder to hold it in place? Or does it attach to the dresser somehow? What makes it worth $130?
I think the material is sort of grippy, so it stays in place on it's own. As far as being able to wipe it though, lots of $30 changing pads are waterproof and able to be wiped, so I'm still struggling with the price. Ultimately I think it's too big for our space, but we'll see how annoyed I get with the changing pad we have.
Target has a wipeable one by circo for $13 we got and we love it!

I kept my eyes shut during my c section. I get nauseous sometimes in hospitals and didn't want to chance it. I opened them to look at her when DH brought her to me.
Here vaccines are done at our health clinics separate from the doctors offices. Her vaccines are scheduled for Monday. But I did talk to the doctor about them today. She said that I can hold her anyway I want while she is getting the vaccines and if I want I can breast feed her then as well. (To try and keep her comforted during the shots.) they also said not to give her any Tylenol or anything before as we don't want to mask a potential reaction. (She said about 10% of babies get a mild fever 2-3 hrs after and it goes away with 1-2 doses of Tylenol.)
I hope C does ok with the vaccines.
Thanks! So, do you have baby Tylenol at home on stand-by? I haven't bought any yet since he hasn't been allowed to have any, just wondering if I should make sure I get some before Friday's appointment to have ready just in case? Good luck on Monday!
And loira, I love your advice about making H hold him during the shots! I learned early on at the first audiology appointment that I'm not the one to hold him during painful medical procedures. I'm too much of a wimp and just want to take him and run out of the office!
Definitely get some. I gave some to S after her 2m shots. She screamed bloody murder when she got them but the nurse was super fast and as soon as they were done I picked her up and held her and she stopped. They made me lay her down for the shots but it was fast. GL!!!
Oh yes I'm bringing my baby ktan and lillebaby carriers. We are staying at planet Hollywood. And I will also be asking for fridge too as I have to pump once a day in mornings. Thanks!
We did Vegas with a 10-month-old and it was awesome, so I imagine a 10-week old would be pretty easy. He just chilled in the stroller the whole time. I think you'll be fine to do pretty much whatever, but if you're walking around be sure that you have a good sunshade on the stroller.
Thanks! Thinking of bringing my city mini with car seat instead of car seat and snap n go stroller. More options that way.

I'm tagging along with DH next week to Vegas with our 10w baby girl. I will have lots of free time during the day with the baby. I have been before but never with a baby. Any tips or travel tricks for Vegas?

King26 I went up in band and cup size while pg. I bought some cheap wireless bras on Amazon while pg bc i couldn't do the underwire. In third tri I bought nursing bras that still work today.
S is 10 weeks old which means I only have 4 weeks left of ML with her.
My parents bought a house 30min away from us and are going to move next year to be here and help! Can't wait as they are currently 19 hours away.
S is really talking lately and is so cute! We are going to Vegas next week as my DH is going there for work. I'm excited!
As for car seat, I always bring mine on the plane, i still dont see how a bag can help it if it gets banged around in the hold unless it was in hard case. If there isnt an extra seat on the plane to install the car seat (in the case i didnt buy a seat either) the flight attendant puts it somewhere in storage in the plane and not below.
Ull be fine alone! I do it all the time, just try to relax and accept in advance that you might not sleep or eat much haha
Oh I was wondering about whether I might be able to bring the car seat with me on board. I didn't buy an extra seat for him but if the flight is not full, I was wondering whether the gate attendants might let me put it in an empty middle seat. So you've had pretty good luck with this?
We flew recently on SW and both ways there was extra seats and the gate agents said we could bring the car seat in. We did it on the first flight but not on the second bc it took up a lot of room and it has to go in the window seat bc it blocks your exit if you put it in the middle seat. It blocked my left arm and made it hard to nurse her on the left.

I'm in southeast Houston area and I can travel to meet you if you are going to be around next week. I have a 2m old you can snuggle! Big hugs! MDA is great!
And you're absolutely certain there's not a lipase issue? I think you said there wasn't, but I will say that my milk starts tasting soapy before it should and even if it hasn't been frozen.
The dcp can also spoon-feed breast milk.
Sorry to barge in here, but what can you do about this?
