Kate would wear that tweed McQueen. she would just add like 30 buttons to it LOL.
ETA kate's issue isn't that she doesn't go edgy. She does, sometimes (well, edgy for her.) It's that edgy is out of her comfort zone and then she cant quite style the look appropriately. And then for her more classic looks, she usually mistakes boring for classic. It's why I think a good stylist would really elevate her look. She is so close but needs someone to give her a little help I think.
Who the hell styled her for that visit to Scandinavia? I realize she was quite pregnant at the time, but she HAS done pregnancy looks well. At least 2 of the looks she wore looked like she got out of the back of grandma's closet! Normally, she is really on point on her tours with everything. The blue dress and the gold one were hideous.
Maybe it was Pippa, looking at what she wore yesterday.
Even looking at some of the ready-to-wear pieces produced by designers like Alexander McQueen, there's a whole lot of stuff that would be way, way too edgy for Kate. Tweed for example:
I want Meghan to wear things that are a little more outside the box - obviously to appropriately casual events.
I could see McQueen styling this tweed into something bespoke for Kate.
I really like her “work” style. She tends to look more professional (or maybe my idea of professional) during these types of events vs Royal. It’s a more appealing vibe/style to me.
I agree, and I think we are going to see that more with Meghan in general. Particularly during the engagement, she wore a lot of separates, and while she wasn't quite "business casual" she was close to it with some outfits, and I think it worked for her. I think for non-queen events we are going to see her sticking more to that general look and I think it's a good one.
I can't wait to see more of her business style. Agree that she does that so much better.
Meghan is beautiful. I love her style. And I think Kate looks great today. She's definitely wearing something we've seen before (the style), but it's working for her and for having a 2 month old baby, she looks fabulous.
Girl has lost a ton of weight. I mean, she usually does after kids, but she looks almost like pre-wedding Kate today. I sometimes forget how tiny she is.
I feel like Pippa doesn't know what looks good on her as she is pregnant, possibly? Her dress for Harry and Meghan's wedding was also underwhelming.
She has a similar figure to Kate, and I feel like Kate has done a decent job with maternity style, so why not ask your sister? I usually like Pippa's casual style.
Pippa looks horrible but she still looks a thousand times better than the other woman in the photo. Who is that?
Their cousin, Lucy Middleton. She's a godmother for Louis. She also does not have great style. lol. The tight neckline with the small fascinator do not work well together.

I'm shocked and excited about the final four teams. Well, not France. All my English friends are freaking out because they didn't think it could happen.
Croatia has played some amazing football. I screamed when they won.
Now here's a seriously dumb question - I would assume that in the major tech companies that dominate SF/Silicon Valley, Seattle, etc., that would mean a not-insignificant amount of people in those workforces who could conceivably work remotely at least part-time...right? So that means people who aren't restricted to $$$ towns in those areas could conceivably live further out.
My cousin works for a big tech company in silicon valley. She has worked there for 10+ years, moved away when she married, and her DH got a job in a much less expensive city, still a major city, but not nearly as expensive as SF. She gave notice, and they countered back she could work from home for 6 months. It has been two years, and she still works for them. She flies in once a month for a couple of days, at their expense. Still is paid like she lives in SF. It is a pretty great situation. I think more and more people will do this. All you need is an airport. My brother is a partner in a large consulting company. He lives by the beach. Doesn't matter to him. He flies out every Monday, and back on Thursday or Friday. He likes it because his kids get to live in an amazing place, much less traffic, and the airport is small and a 30 minute flight to a major hub, so it actually takes him less time to fly out of than the major city.
Most consulting firms are actually opening up the mileage limit from offices because of this. You could live in LA metro and have 5 different airports to fly out from, so the limit can be 100 miles instead of 25-50 from one airport since most consultants don't need to go into an office more than once a month. There is some push back when it comes to smaller regional airports since the cost can be significantly higher.
We hire people out of the SoCal offices and they fly up to NorCal or Seattle every week. It's cheaper for us and our clients, which says something.
I was just there on Friday and had this beer! Haha. My husband is up there for work this week. I can see if he can stop by and ship it?
that would be so amazing, I don't want to put anyone out in general though! Just was hoping maybe someone happened to be right there and it wouldn't be too awful to do.
He said if he gets off work at a decent time, he'll try to grab some and ship it.
omg. On Saturday, there was a weird sulfur smell by the airport area.
Generally, it's a livestock smell. Living where we do, when we say "I can smell Greeley" it means bad winter weather is coming. Honestly, when I'm in Greeley I don't get that smell - but you leave city limits and you take your chances opening your car door.
OH, I know. But there was an added sulfur smell on Saturday and I was confused and my nose hurt.
We even get the Greeley smell down in Denver some days.

I just texted H to see if he can go by tonight or tomorrow. I'll let you know.
I don't know why this made me laugh so much. I have to drive out there to see one of my specialists, and it has such a weird, distinct Greeley smell. Haha.
Oh, it smells WAAAAAYYYYY better than it used to. Now keep going north to Eaton or East to Kersey or South to Milliken or wherever... yeah, no.

Was it delicious?
It was yummy! I liked their Red Velvet Blonde Stout the most though.
If you guys make the trek up to Weldwerks, go to Crabtree Brewing! We went on Saturday night and had a BLAST. The staff was awesome and their ginger honey beer is amazing.
Colorado ladies, did you drop your ballots? Hubs dropped mine yesterday, I ended up going for Cary Kennedy.
Dropped mine today.
I was extremely torn between Kennedy and Polis. I went with Polis because I think he has a better chance to beat the awful Simpleton, but I think they were both good candidates and will happily vote for either in the election.
We split our votes because we couldn't decide for some of the races, but we went with Kennedy. Voted for Young, too. State Senate and house were hard!
