This is going to sound INSANE but Bentonville, Arkansas. World-class art museum, fantastic restaurants, cute town square probably teeming with Pokemon.
Well, this is unexpected. Thank you!
I have not been to any part of Arkansas, and now I know where I should visit (and whom to consult) should I ever have the opportunity.
Oh boooo. We could've met up to watch the parade (at a predetermined time and place because my cell had zero service the entire time we were there last year). Lol We probably walked right past one another. I'm still bitter.
That's so cool you are going again!
One of these days, if I'm ever in Vegas without being held down by child, we really need to meet.
We have been in the same place at the same time without connecting far too often!
I know. I'm so excited. We'll be there for 5 days too. Yay!
Savannah, food is great and I think the Pokemon hunting is pretty great too!
Interesting! I've never thought of Savannah. How far is it from Atlanta? Would that be doable in one trip?:
Self-edit: OMG three hours away. I'm an idiot.
It is a bit to far for a day trip, although people do it all the time. It is a great city, lots of southern food, but also tons of other options as well. It is very walkable and sooo beautiful. I found the airport is actually pretty cheap to fly into as well, especially from larger cities.
Hit the underground and the EMP if you haven't already. I think Bite of Seattle is over but Bumbershoot is coming up.
Seattle is high up always.
I've done both underground and EMP, but I know nothing re Bite and Bumbershoot.
The Bite is all the amazing restaurants (and up and comers and ok restaurants) do a festival where they give away samples of their best food. It's usually accompanied with games and maybe a couple rides for kids and booze. It's a once a year thing and Tacoma does the same thing (the glass museum in Tacoma is awesome too!)
Bumbershoot is a music festival. It has food but it's more fair type food. But it has boats and concerts and parties. Bumbershoot is a Seattle tradition!
ETA booze for the adults.. Seattle is liberal but not that liberal.
