i've complained before and they usually give me 100 points.  it's not much, but it's a future deluxe sample, and those never seem to get messed up in between ordering and shipping.

In other news, I did go on my birthday spree to Ulta today. I got some travel sizes of new things to try, refills of stuff I already love, some hair masks and jamaican black castor oil (I'm STILL growing out my hair after losing it postpartum 2.5 years ago), and the Too Faced Festival palette because it's just so fun. I think the colors are just light enough that I'll actually wear them. Most colorful palettes are so bright that I'm intimidated.

Are you taking biotin or prenatals? I don't have any hair now because #fuckcancer but back in the day, even pre-babies, I swore by New Chapter organics Perfect Prenatal. It's expensive but I would buy it from Whole Foods or Sprouts when they would have a supplement sale.

Yes prenatals. I took biotin for years in an attempt to grow my nails stronger and it did jack for either my hair or my nails.

Got the Sephora sun kit today and I’m stupid excited about everything in it. I didn’t even realize it had 2 full sized products lol. I haven’t really tried any high end sunscreens so this was a really good deal for me. I’m really hoping the misting sunscreen doesn’t ruin my makeup when I test it in a bit because that’ll really come in handy for when I’m outside all day. The bag is very nice too.

I’ve been seeing in diff groups that the stores have a bunch in stock if that’s an option for you.

Update the sunscreen mist ruined my makeup lol. It’ll be good for no makeup days though.

I'm having decision strife. My tube of shape tape (used exclusively for my under eyes) is around a year and a half old. I use it every day that I wear makeup to cover my dark circles. It needs replaced because the texture is changing and the product is drying out. The problem is that I'm boycotting Tarte and I haven't yet found a comparable concealer for my ridiculous dark circles that covers them as well as the shape tape does. Actually that's a lie- the IT cosmetics BBUE covers them well, but they are also owned by a brand I'm boycotting. Ugh.

Why can't companies not be assholes?

calico I used Benefit's Erase Paste (which has a new name now) on my very dark circles. I don't know their status as a company because I haven't needed to shop for concealer in a while.

calico, have you tried UD Naked? Are they on your boycott list? Or have you tried a color corrector first and then a concealer?

I use the UD in both peach and lavender and then the concealer on top. It does a pretty good job for me.

Good to know! I was particularly curious about those two.  I adore the rose gold Smashbox one, but couldn't find any reviews of how it wore.  I'm sure I will love the Fenty lipstick and the Huda lip strobe, so I figure it's a good deal even if there's one or two I don't like.

In very important cleaning stick news, my chamomile stick shipped from Amazon last night.  And I noticed the stick is no longer on Sephora's website. As of last week, it was there and listed as out of stock, but when I checked this morning, there is no page for it. I really hope Belif did not discontinue it, and what is now on Amazon is the last of the supply.
