Ulta's website broke last night for hours. God, I hate shopping at Ulta. Except I do more of it because the points actually mean something.

I bought 2 Baby Foot peels, a large It's a 10 detangler, SheaMoisture hibiscus/coconut lotion, SheaMoisture shea body wash, and SheaMoisture honey scrub (they were buy 2 get 1 free), and Sweet Peach palette (why, why did I buy more eyeshadow?!). I used points + 20% off and paid 2.40 for it all. Then I got 3.82$ back in Ebates. I made money shopping. 😄

What's wrong with he blotting powder? You've been using it for years-- you got me using it (until mine broke). Is it discontinued?

I bought a sample size UD Troublemaker mascara. I am completely unimpressed. Doesn't add volume or length, just darkens my dark lashes. I plan to return it.

I've fallen down the microdermabrasion rabbit hole. Well, really looking for a way to furthr improve the texture and pigmentation of my skin so I can wear less makeup. Chemical peels, lasers, and microneedling come with too much risk in my mind, and I don't like people touching my face.

I ordered a PMD Personal microdermabrasion tool from Nordstrom Rack. It was $80 and has great reviews. I will report back.

I’m not seeing it in Ulta(s). It’s still on the web site but I use it every day. I don’t know if it’s being discontinued but the lack of availability in actual Ulta stores makes me nervous.

Damn, I'm sorry to hear that. I liked it the one time I tried it. Sounds like I'll keep sticking with my Bobbi Brown corrector.

Mall of America has a pretty big NYX store. I think they’re slowly popping up in more places.

I wish Sephora would have better representation of the actual makeup colors on its site. I just got the ABH Soft Glam and expected a bunch of light pinks and peaches. Instead, there is only one light color and the rest are dark oranges, golds and browns. I held the palette side by side with my computer screen and it literally looks like a completely different palette. I even searched for swatches before purchasing, but nothing seemed to convey how dark and orangey/brown these shades really are.

I'm still on the hunt for the perfect golden peachy lip gloss that is as gorgeous as Sephora Gorgeous Peach vinyl lip pencil that I bought on clearance years ago and have never been able to find a dupe and wish that I had bought 20 of way back when.

Nars Orgasm doesn't quite fit the bill. I have a bunch of colors tagged on my sephora account to check out next time I'm there, there seems to be a lot of new summer lip gloss releases, maybe this year will be the year that I find it's equal, lol

I got the Bite lip set in the Sephora sale, and I am obsessed with all 3 lip colors. I think Eclair may be my new favorite color ever.

I bought the Bobbi Brown stick foundation and I'm loving it. It doesn't last forever (nothing seems to on my skin - it seems to drink it up) but the colour works and it looks good for several hours. Plus my skin doesn't look super dry in it and that's a feat!

I'm trying a new Vit C product - Derma E Vitamin C Concentrated Serum. $20 at ulta, got it on 5x point promo with a 20% off coupon, so decent deal. supposed to be stable formulation and has hyaluronic acid. Just got it, so I can't speak to efficacy, but it's a pleasant formula. smells faintly of fruit loops and soaks right in with minimal stickiness.

I mean...I'm a minimal packer, but I don't bother limiting my lip options when I travel since I habitually walk around with a dozen lipsticks rattling in my purse.  Just shove those suckers anywhere they'll fit.

Yeah i can’t imagine going on an overnight with fewer than three or four so I’d say even 10 would be reasonable.

Yall, I'm loving the look I got using the techniques from this video. I don't do the highlighter all over like she did. My MIL, unprompted, said my skin was glowing after I did this technique. The skin prep is super important too.

I mixed some strobe cream with my Fenty and used my UD optical blurring brush (I've seen them at Nordstrom Rack in the past) and used my Sephora airbrush concealer brush for applying shape tape.
