Ok so we have filed the police report and it is in for review. I have filed all the complaints with the boards. Do I wait to hear back to contact the news or contact them now?
Talk to an attorney first about contacting the news.

I cannot imagine going through this and I think you and your DH have been AMAZING advocates for your daughter. If my kid ever deals with this kind of situation, I hope I handle it as well as you guys have. She is lucky to have you both, and you two have done a great job raising a brave little girl.
Re: the media ... I would get a lawyer first and have them available to help you. I work in PR and deal with the media regularly, and I think having legal guidance could be helpful here. They can assist with how you say things and can help keep the conversation focused on the horrible actions (or, inactions, as it may be more accurately) of garbage school. I think this is even more critical if you have any designs on suing them, even if only to get a prorated portion of the tuition back. (I cannot remember if you said anything about that, but I think a previous poster may have mentioned it.)
Also, write down everything. Have your DH write down everything that happened, everything he said and they said to the best of his ability. Documentation will be your friend, especially if you go to the media.

What the ever-loving hell. Light her ass on fire. (Not literally, of course.) I
I actually told my husband this story this morning and told him I would have LITERALLY set fire to the building, so...
I shared this post with my H the other night when I first read it, and we both agreed that had we encountered the response OP's H got at pickup, we'd most likely end up having the police called on us. (Not that this is right or solves anything. But we would have lost our everfucking minds. And my H is a large and intimidating looking man so, it would have escalated).
I’ve been reading but haven’t replied. I just want to say I’m sorry. As someone who is entrusted with 40 Kindergarteners every day, this is totally unforgivable and I am so angry that this happened to your daughter.
