$2000.00 to the current car I own (company car from my step-dad's work) that was about 4 years ago...
more recent, 700 dollars to fix said car (twice, the past year-in-a-half) stupid timing belt, and front shocks, and engine bolt thing) but it is much better then a car payment
A deposit down on a new sofa, chair, and ottoman. It was $2100 and change. Another $6300 due when it arrives in 3 weeks. We did save $1000 because the color we wanted was actually one of two that they had on special.
I spent $675 on two new pairs of glasses two weeks ago. That was the after-insurance price. ($150 towards the first pair, 40% off the second pair.) After I was told the total, I contemplated just buying one pair, but after the amount of time I had spent in picking them out and falling in love with them, I was not able to pick just one to take home.

500 to get some thing that I don't member the name of fixed on our 10 year old, 120k mile car. Pretty good deal, actually! Yay civics for never having repair bills.
We are still getting thousands of dollars of hospital bills for DH's surgery, but we have long since passed our OOP max for the year, so we don't owe anything luckily.
A car repair and DH's ground school (he's getting his pilot's license) were both right around $250. We almost pulled the trigger on $1,000 for airfare, but I think we're going to drive instead.
