We replace ours fairly regularly because of this. We actually get the Amazon basics ones because they are less expensive and have lasted longer than the Apple brand.
I sobbed too. I was crying so hard that H asked me if I was okay. As soon as then showed her in the chair the next morning, I gasped "oh no, she died."
The eastern shore of MD. We love St. Michaels. You could stay in Easton (we had a good experience at the Best Western there), visit St. Michaels and other little towns there.
I bought myself a pair and they are great! I have wide feet and had to order up a size. But they fit beautifully and never gave me any blisters. A word of warning though. They have zero arch support. So if you need that, you might want to test them out with some insoles. If they don't work out for you, their customer service is amazing! They sent me the bigger size so I could test out both sizes before deciding which to keep and which to send back.
I've said this before, but it's worth saying again: I hired a cleaning lady in April. We came home the first day she came, and just walked around our house in wonder. It was like being in a hotel in our own house.
Calvin kept walking around going, oh. oh. THIS IS A THING.
We did the same thing. I'm sure you wanted to bang your head on the wall since Calvin finally got it.
In Asheville, N.C., a state DMV office denied 86-year-old Reba Miller Bowser a photo ID in February even though she had a birth certificate, Social Security card, a Medicare card, cable bill and apartment lease.
I just got my new license. They told me the same thing-- I needed to have a copy of my marriage license showing a name change, even though I had my birth certificate, SS card, bank statement, copy of my lease, and my valid GA driver's license. Yup folks, my valid GA driver's license wasn't considered a valid form of identification or proof of my age.
We were lucky that our buyers only asked for the major things. But we ended up reducing the price of the house for fixing those items. I think it worked out for the best because the new owners got to pick their own contractor for those fixes and we didn't have to deal with it remotely (we were out of the house at that point).
