Bloomberg hands down. He has a lot of issues, but he has a great gun control track record and is not a shouty old man fake Dem. And I don't think Bernie can beat Trump.
My answer depends on whether or not Bloomberg is still going to drop $$$$$ in supporting the Dem candidate, even if it isn't him. (he has previously said he will consider doing this).

Ugh. So, I live in NYC and could easily see lots of interest in Bloomberg here (mostly for nostalgia reasons...it seems like we hate everyone when they're currently mayor but then they leave and we're like "ah the good ol' days!!!"), but...we don't matter in November.
Basically, I would vote for who is more likely to flip back PA, MI and WI. And believe it or not, I think that's Bernie.

I probably would go Bernie. I’m genuinely uncomfortable with the idea of Bloomberg moving forward. Beyond all of his atrocious skeletons, his election would basically be purchasing the presidential office.
In my world, the dem ticket wins no matter what, lol. I would hope that if Sanders were the nominee, though he does not have the track record to get his policies pushed through, he would hopefully have inspired positive down ballot results and have a good house and senate to do the work for him.

Yeah, no. He is definitely a fake Dem. A sexist, transphobic asshole.

Sanders without question. He’s not my first (or second or third) choice, but he’s far better than a racist oligarch robber baron who is trying to quite literally buy the White House.

Seriously, he is not a dem.
I said the other day to someone "blue no matter who does not include Bloomberg because he is not even fucking blue!" and she was like, yeah, you are 100% right.

Sanders. I know he has said/done some problematic things on race and gender issues, but Bloomberg has said and done some REALLY problematic things, and I think it's important that Dems be able to retain some degree of moral high ground on these things. And at least Sanders is engaging young people, which is something.
Is this where I admit that if it were Bloomberg vs. Trump I might very seriously consider not voting?
I am genuinely here as well. If, god forbid, we get to that point, I would need this board to seriously give me the reasons why I should be voting instead of writing someone else in.

Bernie, as long as he has a good running mate.
Maybe @@@-ish?
I don’t wish harm on him, and do hope he’s truly healthy, but when your parent or grandparent has a heart attack and is closing in on 80, you know the health situation is not getting better, and you start planning on what to do when “next” happens. Because the recurrence rate within 5 years is pretty high, and he’s....not young.
I want an actual poll so we can see how they stack up.
I guess I lean Bloomberg, but I don't even know. Those are really shitty options.
eta: Maybe my Bernie hatred is getting too deep. You guys make excellent points (as always). I think my biggest concern is that if the candidate is Bernie, he'll lose to Trump.

@@@ In a sign of how far we have fallen as a nation, when faced with these possible choices I honestly have to say to myself "Well, at least Sanders/Bloomberg won't put kids in cages" in order to make sure I vote for the D candidate no matter what. Even here in blue NY. That is where we are right now.
