Not so much a confession but I will still put it here. I just found out this week that I am diabetic and of course I started my period earlier and all I'm craving are sweets.

We just got a hamster today. DS named him Bob. He's burrowed sleeping now. I will have to post a picture later. He's cute and I had them as a kid. We also had 4 dogs but one died of old age about a year ago and another dug out of the back yard about 6 months ago and we never found him. Soooo adding a hamster to our current 2 dog situation was no big deal.

Without medication mu heart rate is constantly around 130. I just had my annual check up with the cardiologist and I had an echocardiogram and wore the Holter monitor for 24 hours since it had been a few years since I last had those two done. I also have about 100 PVC palpitations per day. I am on a beta blocker for the rest of my life, annual ekgs at the cardiologist, and no caffeine ever. It's not bad though. Sometimes I'd LOVE some regular coffee but at least I can still get the taste and habit fix with decaf!

I just had a last minute interview pop up. Literally, they just called and want to meet with me at 3. I still have my pants and jacket from my suit, but I don't have any button downs. (I've been working at home for the past 3 years). I do not have time to run to grab a shirt. Would a solid color cotton type shirt tucked in with my pants and jacket be ok?

I do. I have tachycardia and several more PVCs than the average person. I just finished up all my testing with my new cardiologist. He did an ekg and then an echo. I also did the 24 Hour Holter monitor because of the palpitations. That is where he determined the palpitations were just PVCs as opposed to something serious.

I apologize if this is silly but ds has been a really healthy kid so far. He will be 2 next month. He has a cold and is cutting his molars. Before bed I can give him both Benadryl and ibuprofen right? Since Benadryl is just an antihistamine

I don't understand how wearing some yoga pants and a fitted tee with my hair done and some make up is questionable or any less put together than someone with jeans or a casual dress with no make up and no hair done. I feel like no matter what I'm wearing if my hair isn't done (at least in a decent pony tail) and no make up then I'm sloppy.

My favorite! I started watching it when ds was first born. He would sleep on me and I would lay in the recliner and watch like 2 or 3 episodes in a row. I miss those days!

Speaking of delicious smelling things. Did y'all know Target has their own wax cubes for like Scentsy warmers? I got some and right now I have pumpkin pie and ginger spice in there.

I love cinnastack pancakes from IHOP.
H made beef ribs today. They were fantastic.
I've had 3 beers over the course of the day while watching football...like really spread out so I got no buzz at all. However, now that ds is asleep I'm thinking about a couple glasses of wine.

misshark, I can agree with you! I wish I could afford to stock up on Lulu stuff, but I have the fold over yoga pants from ON. They're more flattering in person than online and I love love love them.

I'm in the camp of who cares? I work at home and I think it's a waste to get dressed in something else just to run to the store when as soon as I get back home I will be back in yoga pants and a fitted tee.
