Haven't done any fancy dresses yet but I'm sure we will soon for Christmas photos. I like the jersey onesie-dresses and she's worn those a few times including as her coming home from the hospital dress. Most of the time though with the heat (born in July), she wore bodysuits at home, and we added pants or wore rompers for going out. I doubt she'll wear a lot of real dresses until she's walking, but the onesie dresses are cute and pretty practical.
I've had mine in 5 weeks and have not had a blood-free day yet. Some days are heavy enough for a regular pad, some days are just spotting, light enough for a liner. I'm waiting 6 months to see if I'll eventually stop bleeding.
Same, but I'm 4 weeks. I'm not yet sold on this but giving it a chance.
Wake-up 4, 2am here. To be fair wake-up's 1-3 all occurred in the first 2 hours. She finally stayed down after 11:30.
Usually I'd be taking her into our bed now but going to try and put her back in the crib and see how long she goes. Got her to nurse on both sides which is unusual for MOTN so fingers crossed!
After I lost my parents insurance after college I didn't go for 4 years, but still took care of my teeth at home. I finally went and paid put of pocket because I got a deal on Groupon, and everything was fine, no cavities. Just a good cleaning and quick talk from the dentist that I need to be more regular. No biggie.
DD has been asleep since 10, after 2 times having us put her back to sleep. It's almost 12:30 and she's kind of stirring but still asleep, but I'm thinking I should wake her for a dream feed so she stays down longer?
Never mind. She just decided for me. She just farted really loud and is tossing around. Sigh.
Stupidly we put DD to bed in our bed but she slept 3 hours and I'm feeding her now. Was supposed to be a nice calm dream feed but she's totally awake, making noises and squirming around. She caught the cold that DH and I had - well he still has - and Walgreen's was out of baby Vick's, so I got a Vick's plug-in thing instead... I think it's helping?
At 10 I dressed like I do now. In leggings and giant sweaters. I hated stirrups so I would cut mine off.
Middle school I liked wide leg jeans, never owned JNCOs though. And I stole flannels from my dad. I need to dig up photos but I would dress somewhere between Clueless (jumpers or skirts with baby tees), and grunge.
And fashionx found these super stylish jeans and wanted to show you all, lol.
I was trying to sneak a pic and the salesgirl was like, "aren't those soooo cute?" And fashion was trying to be so nice and was all, "yeah they are...interesting!" I almost died.
I want to know what the price is on these perfect pants? I am sure it is ridiculous. Well, anything over free from Goodwill would be ridiculous.
So we're all officially sick around here. Well I got it first, so I've been basically done minus some sinus pressure for the last couple days, DH is the worst and had a fever that broke this morning. My poor baby is sick too for the first time and I don't know how to help. She's 11 weeks old, no fever. Gave her some Tylenol 2 days ago when symptoms first started, but she's mostly just congested with phlegm, which I know Tylenol does nothing for. Nothing really in her nose although I've tried used the nose frida, but got nothing out. She's just wheezy sounding when she breathes, like it's all in the back of her throat. Can I do anything?
DH is a Jr, doesn't particularly like his name, and his family is full of narcissistic names. His one set of grandparents both had a boy and girl named after themselves (so yes a girl Jr too). Every uncle has a Jr child. The grandparent-namesake aunt and uncle each also named one of their kids after themselves (so boy and girl cousins. The III).
His dad asked if we were going to name our baby, if it was a boy, __ III, and we said no. He was happy though, and said good!
I have a cute trench style raincoat from Lands End. Mine is a basic tan but they have fun colors too if you prefer soome color. Well made though and not too pricey.
Those gtg pics are AMAZING!! Could you girls BE any cuter?
Do you mean to say no one bought those pants? So disappointed. Lol!!!!
Haha! They were part of the "American classics" section. Because high waisted cropped wide leg jeans with both fringe AND an exposed zip fly are SO classic.
