Happy birthday! If it is any consolation, it's my birthday and I'm sick as hell too. I'm spending the morning getting a strep culture. I hope your day gets better.

Go you! I was never able to handle spiders until I had kids and then some mama bear-type instinct took over, for lack of a better phrase. Now I will kill a spider with my bare hands and leave it there for a few as a message to his friends.

We just bought our first home. It has a ton of huge gorgeous windows but not a lot of square footage. I am loath to install some kind of blinds, but drapes (done right) seem to me like they would prevent a lot of usable space. I'm thinking about attempting to diy roller or roman shades. Has anyone successfully pulled this off? Is there some other treatment I'm missing?
I need to know the panty game. Does someone have to wear them? Two hours? I assume she keeps them in the end. Do you all decorate them like onesies?
sent from my galaxy s3. suck it, iphone haters.
I'm guessing, because it was so emphatically stated that they should be ones YOU WOULD ACTUALLY WEAR, that it's going to be a game of "guess who brought these panties!?"
It will take all two hours because none of this rag-tag group of rounded up suckers will know a single fucking thing about one another.
I want to take it a step further. Everyone bring your favorite marital aid!

My group all went through a direct selling phase. It was fun at first but I lost interest quickly. Can't we just hang out and drink without having to buy candles?

My DD was very impressive with letter recognition around that age and I worried about it quite a bit because of a friend's experience. It seemed to be a fleeting thing and now at three she is on par with her age group. I wouldn't worry. Just go ahead and be proud.

We have a 2000 and it has withstood some serious toddler shenanigans and road trips. I have no complaints aside from gas mileage, but I knew what I was getting into.

I've been watching the train wreck via Perez Hilton. I really hope she's going to be okay. I have loved her since the days of trying to learn dance moves from Nickelodeon. Wasn't she on Roundhouse? That was the height of comedy.
Also is train wreck one word or two? I thought it was one but spell check disagrees.

I work for a design agency and we use worpress exclusively because of the versatility. It's amazing and user friendly. I have picked up a lot with zero prior experience.
