I watch whatever I want to watch online, for the most part (but I don't watch much). I go to my friend's house to watch the one show I want to watch (Girls). As far as sports, that's the onlllllyyy thing I miss about the TV. I just go to a bar now to watch the games.

Something similar happened with me with one of my favorite aunts. It's hard getting older and seeing these people you worshiped at one point are kind of wackadoodle, and not in an endearing way. I think that's a hard part of getting older, so I choose to remember her for who she was when I was a kid and limit contact with her in her present life. She's just too much to handle.
I'm sorry this is happening with you, it's rough to have these feelings.
i have never done it. i have considered signing up for kickboxing though!
Her gym has all kinds of Martial Arts. I'm going to a beginner's clinic on Feb 3 (if the Broncos are not in the Super Bowl). Want me to ask her if they have any kickboxing clinics coming up? It's located sort of near downtown, I don't know if that would work for you...?

A co-worker at the restaurant I work at PT is HOT and in her 40s and seriously looks/feels/acts amazing. She's a boxer. She told me last week that I have the build for it and I should do it. I think it sounds like a blast. Have any of you ever boxed?
My typical working out situation is yoga/body weight training (no weights) and running. Peaceful stuff. I'm not usually an aggressive person, but I am really strong and mighty and I think the workout aspect of it is very appealing.
Oh! GNR Live and Let Die. I'm sure Boobs will agree on this one.
I agree, too. And their covers of "Knocking on Heaven's Door" and "Since I Don't Have You."
I can't believe, though, that I seem to be the only person who thinks Johnny Cash's cover of "Hurt" was godawful and that the shame of such a bad cover should follow him into the afterlife.
I also don't really like JC's version of Hurt, and I am a huge JC fan. It just didn't do it for me.
I can't think of any off the top of my head that are better, but a couple that I think are really good are the Dixie Chicks' Landslide and Johnny Cash's Hurt.. mainly because he got rid of that godawful buzzing. I still like the NIN version better, though.
Oh, I love the Dixie Chicks' version of Landslide (but I still like the original better). We played it at my dad's funeral. <3

First, I am terribly sorry about your marital troubles. It's a very difficult place to be in.
In my experience, when XH and I separated (for one week, mind you) that was it. That was enough for both of us to know that it was soooo over. Which was good, I think...better than continuing to live together and be miserable. I think a separation is helpful because it allows you to view your life from your own perspective and see what is or is not missing.
It's an amazing area; every day I find more and more things to like about it. Initially I wasn't sure how I felt about moving out of CH since I've been there since I moved to Denver, but I think it was a totally solid choice.
