I guess I like "hipster music", although I think of it as alt rock.
I really like a lot of Death Cab stuff (Dyl even proposed while a Death Cab song was playing. Awwww) Others that I either like or love that made the list: Black Keys Fun. The Decemberists (LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE - got to see them in concert) Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros The Airborne Toxic Event Bright Eyes Arcade Fire
Basically, I think this guy just wants to sound cool by bashing popular music. "Oh look how awesome I am! I am way too cool for popular music!"
Well, it is a good thing that TX has such outstanding healthcare. They will easily be able to take care of all the women (and men) that are helped by planned parenthood. Plus, I mean, almost everyone in TX is insured.
What kind of 33 year old guy has to go on mail order bride sites to find a girlfriend??
GOMI comments say that there is a rumor that in order to get his trust/inheritance he had to be married (to a girl) by a certain age. No proof of that (yet).
I read on a Nook, but not the tablet kind, just the one that mimics paper. But I do tend to check stuff on my phone a lot when I first get into bed, so I am cutting that out.
Thanks for all the suggestions - I am trying many of them tonight.
Are you stressed out or anxious about anything? Or is the not sleeping itself making you anxious?
Not anything specific. I have dx Generalized Anxiety, but am medicated (and have been for awhile). I would always have random bad nights of sleep here in there when my anxiety was acting up, but nothing making me anxious right now. Although it COULD be a case of wanting to sleep and thinking about sleeping so much that I can't sleep.
Ever since we got back from vacation I have not been able to sleep. And I am exhausted. I am used to falling asleep around 1030, 11 at the very latest, but recently it has been after midnight at the earliest, followed by tons of tossing and turning, like I just can't ever get into a deep sleep. Tylenal PM have done nothing. I get really tired, but I still can't shut down my brain enough to fall asleep. I dont drink caffeine after about 12 or 1230 (usually have a diet coke with lunch).
Halp.
(Oh, and if this makes a difference, I usually read myself to sleep. Never been a problem before. Now I read and read, then shut it off because I know it is getting late, then lie there forever.)
It wasn't me, but this is perfectly safe. My mom has always added a dash, like, literally, less than a tablespoon, of bleach to her sinkful of dishwater.
I'm sure it'll clean the tupperware, but I bet the inside of her microwave is sparlking, too.
Eta: just noticed the 1/4 cup. wasteful, sure, but still not dangerous.
Boiling chlorine bleach like it says in the pin will create chlorine gas. Chlorine gas was used as a chemical weapon in WWI, so, probably not something you want filling your kitchen.
Maybe "cleaning plastic containers" is the new code word kids are using for "the newest dumb way we figured out how to get high"
I voted for Bush once, and I thought democrat was a dirty word. And I pretty much switched my voting habits solely due to women's issues. It's only been in the last 5 years or so that I've become a more well rounded liberal. In a family which is still staunchly republican.
I would never have watched maddow during my liberal pro choice but apathetic about politics days, but now I want to marry her.
So, yeah, I buy it. Still, dumb move in the campaign's part.
All I can contribute to this conversation is: Move out the way, she is mine.
For those who may ask what they can do to honor Neil, we have a simple request. Honor his example of service, accomplishment and modesty, and the next time you walk outside on a clear night and see the moon smiling down at you, think of Neil Armstrong and give him a wink."
Reading that makes me misty.

I was working out at the gym while watching CNN when the read it and I got teary eyed on the damn machine. My eyes were just sweating.
Dammit So glad that baby is with a good family. I believ her sister has seen too much of the outside - she won't tow the party line forever. At least that is my hope.

Armstrong underwent a heart-bypass surgery earlier this month, just two days after his birthday on August 5, to relieve blocked coronary arteries.
As commander of the Apollo 11 mission, Armstrong became the first human to set foot on the moon on July 20, 1969. As he stepped on the moon's dusty surface, Armstrong said: "That's one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind."
The Apollo 11 moon mission turned out to be Armstrong's last space flight. The following year he was appointed to a desk job, being named NASA's deputy associate administrator for aeronautics in the office of advanced research and technology.
He left NASA a year later to become a professor of engineering at the University of Cincinnati.
The former astronaut lived in the Cincinnati area with his wife, Carol.
Yeah, I have no problem with the Norwegian justice system. I mean, don't get me wrong, I would love to give doucheface a life sentence, but I really don't think we have any room to judge other countries systems. Norway is all about rehabing people, or at least attempting to do so. That is commendable IMO. Now I don't think doucheface is rehabable, so I have a feeling they will keep extending his sentence.
