I don’t know his official 2A stance but I watched a clip of an interview to summarize ‘I could out shot Vance in a pheasant hunt but that doesn’t mean we can’t pass laws to protect our child from getting shot by high capacity weapons in school’. So it sound like he is pro 2A but with some restrictions.

This pick is getting me excited all over again.

He's a gun owner who supports gun control. He's been pretty open about how Parkland (or maybe it was Newtown?) has shaped his views on gun control.

It seems like the youths are really into him so that’s what matters I think. Gretchen Whitmer was my dream choice, what a badass ticket that would’ve been, but I think Walz is solid. A good dude.

He was interviewed on Pod Save America last week and mentioned meeting with the parents of Sandy Hook victims in his office to discuss gun control. He has a 17 year old son, so he would be close to the same age at the Sandy Hook victims.
