I'm currently babysitting my neighbors very whiney baby.
However tonight I will be going out with my best friend and drinking. It's the first time in months that either of us have been out and I'm super excited.
Yes. I sleep eat. I didn't realize this was a "thing" until I read an article about it in Cosmo or something when I was in my late 20s. My cousin does the same thing, which is funny because we're not genetically related.
My mom does this. I've come home and she was surrounded by pretzels. The look on her face when I showed her the picture was pretty funny.

Stolen from CEP.
Bf and I are both sleep talkers. One night I was smoking out in the garage and I heard banging on the wall. When I got inside bf was hitting the wall and yelling no. When I sat next to him he pulled me really close and said 'I thought they took you'. Didn't remember a damn thing the next morning.
Another night I told him he needed to 'keep John away from me'. His brothers name is John and, at this point, I hadn't met him or heard much about him. John is a total sociopath and definitely not someone you want around.Bf was seriously creeped out.

Dream job/ current job? To be a published author. I'm currently unemployed. How did you meet your DH/SO? We met at a get together where we reached for the whiskey at the same time. True romance, right there. Last book read? A Taxonomy of Barnacles. I definitely recommend it. What famous person do you look like? I get Lily Allen a lot, and Kelly Osborn. Weirdest food you've ever eaten? Haggis. What do you think Victoria's secret is? She's got a wiener.

Happy birthday! I agree with everyone who said you should take the rest of the day off and treat yourself! Go get some lunch, see a movie, or do some shopping.
When my brother broke up with his college girlfriend my mom was really intent on getting her Joy of Cooking book back. My brother didn't even want to engage with his ex at that point so, yeah, he was never able to recover it. I don't think my mom's ever gotten over it. She's a bit of a drama queen. lol
Don't call him any more. Initiating contact with him umpteen times over an Xmas ornament, and calling him over a cat tag is keeping you in his life, mind, thought processes, etc and makes him think it's ok to call YOU umpteen times about whatever the hell passes through his head.
I agree with this, but how does she get the ornament back? Should the mother call and request it? Genuinely asking. I know that I have a few sentimental things that mean a ton to me, things that I would want to pass down to my kids some day, and I wouldn't want it left with my daughter's exFI.
My mom tried this, and it didn't work. He just ignored her. That's the only reason that I even called him about it.
