It doesn't go: Aunt Loses = HOI now owes her money, right?
Yes, the above is exactly how it works. If you get sued for an injury on your property, your policy pays for your legal representation and damages or settlement up to the policy value.
We went through exactly this when my SIL lost her thumb in a boating accident on her Aunt's boat. Aunt's Insurance offered $1000 which is...insufficient for a 20 year old suffering a traumatic amputation and 10+ surgeries. The only way to recover more in their state was to "sue" her aunt to activate the policy. They ended up settling out of court with the insurance company. It created a huge family rift even though SIL was super clear with the aunt that she had no interest in recovering against her personally.
By the way, SIL's health insurance, which covered this at the time, could theoretically come after her for part of the settlement. The lawyer's advice has been to ignore those letters asking how the accident happened. So far so good, but we could have to cross that bridge at some point.
Do all the contracts stay 3 years? If they cancel, what happens commission-wise? I think a lot of sales reps at my company would like this because everything is up front.
We did our laundry alcove and I love it (still a work in progress to add bright teal shelves in this photo). Also I think I recognize your patterns from Graham & Brown--that's what we used and it was super easy to install.
Normally I'm a no but I really like this. So maybe I'm actually "small spaces only"
i would think think lining up the patterns/sheets would cause a lot of swearing though. So I'd hire someone to deal with it.
Thanks!
It was really, really not hard. We did it in maybe two hours with no fighting. The trick is its a "paste the wall" type. So you paint glue on the wall and then stick the paper up dry right off the roll. It slides around so you can line up the pattern. The reality was much easier than I had imagined, even with the pattern.

Girl, I'm so scared for you! Based on your posts about kids off to college and doing hoodrat stuff with your friends you are Living The Dream! Don't go getting yourself knocked up now!
Oh gosh, let's all say a prayer and knock on wood. I would DIE. My sister is always demanding I don't kill my sweet baby nephew. I don't know anything about 2015 babies. I would DIE.
Can I ask how you figured out the fibroid thing? I think I'm in the same boat unfortunately. I went on nuvaring 4 months back to try to fix it, and now instead of a horrible 8 day period every 23 days I have a horrible 12 day one every 30. Sigh.
Oh no! That is bad. Mine aren't much longer than before (6 days rather than 4-5), but the first two days are much heavier, I am in terrible pain the first day--the back pain in particular is brutal--and as of the past few months, I've started experiencing symptoms outside of when I'm menstruating. Also, my stomach is very distended. The latter two are why we've decided to move ahead with removal. My gynecologist initially figured it out when there were two very small ones, based on my annual exam and family history (both my mother and maternal grandmother had fibroids). They have since grown large enough that my uterus is now twice the size of a normal uterus . I tell my friends how huge my stomach is and people don't believe it, but the couple times I've shown them my real, non-camouflaged belly, the looks of horror are real lol! If your stomach isn't any bigger, it could be endometriosis (sic), as I know that can cause bad cycles also, but you have to ask them to run some tests. They can do an ultrasound to see if you have fibroids. You're dealing with it more than a third of the month, there has to be something.
Thanks! My mom had fibroids too, and my waist size has unexpectedly gone up too, so I just get the sense that this is what it is. I keep booking GYN appointments and then having to cancel because I'm traveling for work, but I just need to get looked at . There's definitely something going on.

Agreed on Haleakala sunrise. So agreed. We had a tour drive us to the top and then we biked down and had brunch at the bottom absolutely the highlight of the trip for me.
so i bought a box of cheerios and the box was making a BFD about being gluten free. on the back it showed photos of oats and proclaimed them to be gluten free and also showed rye and two other grains that "sometimes" get in the oat mix. how the hell does that happen if cheerios is all oat to begin with?
unless they used oat and rye and other gluten shit and didnt care before but now they see $$$$$$$ so they just stopped adding the additional shit in?
Oats are almost always cross contaminated with wheat, unless you take really special precautions to prevent it. One reason is that Oats and Wheat/Barley are often rotated on farms season over season. A lot of farms usually grow both too, so unless they maintain completely separate equipment, it happens easily. Think two sets of identical equipment for planting, harvesting, processing, etc. Wheat is also a nasty grain that sticks to everything.
Actually that's not what happened this time though:
This recall includes four days production of original Cheerios and thirteen days of production of Honey Nut Cheerios at that California facility.
"Our Lodi production facility lost rail service for a time and our gluten-free oat flour was being off-loaded from rail cars to trucks for delivery to our facility on the dates in question," Jim Murphy, president of General Mills’ cereal business, said in a statement on a company blog. "In an isolated incident involving purely human error, wheat flour was inadvertently introduced into our gluten-free oat flour system at Lodi."
Spg has the best rewards, followed by Hyatt in my experience. I try to stick with those two when I can, but both are smaller than Marriott or Hilton, so it kind of depends on whether you can make it work in the cities you're in. I am much more dedicated to my airline status versus hotel.
Think about it this way, builders want agents to bring their clients. If they disincentivize (sp) consumers from using agents they are alienating a large buyer pool because agents won't bring their buyers. The builders need the Realtors and its not worth it, in the grand scheme of things, to piss them off.
That would be pretty unethical, huh? For an agent who is supposed to represent their clients' best interest to steer them away from an otherwise good property because of the realtor's interests?
Whether you have a realtor or not will not lower the price of your home or give you any concessions -- that is now against the law. So there really is no harm getting somebody you trust on your side. I wholeheartedly recommend it after my second build.
What law? A federal one?
The laws of economics say this is fundamentally not true, if there's a federal law overriding that, I stand corrected. We bought a model home (so new from the builder but we didn't build it) - our realtor was beyond useless and I deeply regret having her involved.
We did but it wss pointless and I'd we did it again I world not
This.
And of course it's not "free". The builder pays it and that means the builder needs to charge you that amount more for what you're buying versus what they'd charge someone without a realtor.
I have one. I use it frequently, and cash out the points quite often either through cash back or use them to pay for the ridiculous amounts of stuff I buy on Amazon.
I used to use them to buy Amazon stuff, and then I realized I was losing the 3% cash back on those purchases every time I did it. The statement credit is always a better deal.
Is this the post we want stickied? Might be good to edit the title to final push or something. HoneySpider can you just pm me a link to whatever you want stickied?
