The issue is the seat flipping and the child hitting their head. I don't trust myself to be paying attention 100# of the time.
That said we all have our comfort levels.
The seat flipping how? Out of the sling or put of the booth? I don't do the high chair thing, but I find the sling and booth options to be fairly safe.
I meant the flipped high chair thing. I misunderstood what you were saying. Sorry.
I think the booth is fine and I've never actually see one of the slings,
We used those car seat sling things if the restaurant had them, otherwise we set the carseat in a booth or on the floor. We generally ended up holding the baby regardless. None of our kids stayed asleep or content in their infant seats for more than a few minutes.

Are you doing the Leavesden Studio tour? It is AMAZING!!!!!
I'll be right there with you in July when we go on our trip without the kids. I like your mantra.
If you're really concerned about the earthquake, I would quickly go over your emergency procedures with your parents. Show them where the gas shut off valve is and where your emergency supplies are.
We just picked up DD from my in laws after a great night in downtown LA and she has a croupy cough. Trying to decide if she needs to go to the ER or if we can wait until morning.
Mine had a small leak and then. Big gush. I had tons of pressure the night before and had bloody show that morning with intermittent contractions. Then I went shopping and took a nap and woke up from my nap to a large gush. I didn't think it was my water, but it was! Just kept leaking a good amount.

We are pretty 50/50 on everything. He does more cooking and I do more laundry. I do a bit more with the kids because I'm part time, but he takes evenings 2x a week and Saturday mornings due to my coaching.
We do what needs to be done when it needs to be done. Sometimes I'll be the one who really wants a clean house, so I'll get going and he usually starts helping. Sometimes he's the one who starts and I start helping.
I'm really not much help in this respect, because DH is really better at this stuff than I am.
