I made DH google it because I didn't know what it was and I read the warning to not google it myself right before I went to do it. His response was "why did you make me google this? Oh God, no picture! No picture! No picture! Yeah, that's gross. We aren't doing that next time either."
I thought it was going to be some sort of birth position.
DH now wants to google to see if it's really gross. (I read him your post.)
I had this issue and block fed. It took about 2 weeks to sort out. However, when I talked to my pedi about the green poop, she said she only worries about black poop or white poop. As long as weight gain is good, she was fine with green.
State enployee, not fed, but I didn't qualify for CA SDI because my district is self insured for STD. I'm an hourly so I didn't qualify for the district std either.
No paid leave for me!! I took 8 weeks unpaid. DH got 3 weeks through CA SDI.
My parents paid for my first 2 years at a JC. So about $1000. Then I xferred to a expensive university and took out loans. I still lived at home, so they paid board and food.
DS's wasn't just for sleep it was also for comfort when he got scared, hurt, etc. he loves that thing, but now at almost five he uses it to sleep and that's pretty much it. He doesn't NEED it any more.
Personally, I think you are over concerned about your kid bring over attached. Most kids will go through a "Linus" phase, but it's just that. A phase.
We've been struggling with the "I want to be first" mentality as well, though not the competitive part.
We play little games like tic tac toe and checkers on the iPad. Sometimes I let him win, but I also win so that he gets used to it. I try to show him how to lose (and win) gracefully and try to focus on the playing part of the game, not the winning/losing part of the game.
I think a group sport would be great, but I also think maybe a solo sport might be good too. Something that she CAN be the best at and where she can focus on pushing herself to be the best. I, of course, am coming for the ice skating perspective of a solo sport, so take this with a grain of salt.
I just wonder if it is a fine line between wanting to make sure that she gets along with the other kids and is okay with losing and telling her that there isn't anything wrong with wanting to be first, you just have to be okay with not being first sometimes.
I'm not sure that I am getting my feelings across here very well.
Where'd you go: Ecaudor and Galapagos What'd you see/do: We did three days in Quito before heading to Galapagos. We did a city tour and then hired a guide who took us out to a cloud forest where we hiked and then saw some archaeological sites. Did you have any safety concerns: we were aware of our surroundings and the hotel people told us areas to avoid. Were you able to navigate if you had a complete lack of Spanish: I speak minimal Spanish- in Galapagos, all the naturalists spoke English, so we didn't have any problems. What would you do different if you could go back: Nothing. It was a great trip.

We have a lot of credit cards and cancel/open them all the time to earn the most miles/points. I have never carried debt on a card, they get paid off in full every month. DH considers it a fun game to try and earn as much travel crap as possible. I just get annoyed with having to update autopay stuff so often, but we earn a lot of free travel from it.
We do too. Almost all our travel is free/almost free. ETA: I have no idea how many cards we have right now. DH has a spreadsheet.
We have it as well. We did have a small problem getting a item covered. Even though they say tours and such, they didn't want to cover a whale watch tour that we took.
We did find that if you charge everything to your room, the hotel bill will be covered. We did this with drinks at on site restaurants and the spa too.

DH just texted me a conversation he had with DS (4) this morning.
"If Evie (DD- 10 months) eats that cat food, she'll turn into a cat like Hermione. And then we'll have to have another baby AND we'll have two cats!"
My SIL is pregnant and DS was MAD at us this week when we told him we were not going to have another baby. "But Sophie (cousin) is getting another one!"

1) Do you budget to the penny? Do you loosely budget? Is your money a free for all? Yours/mine/ours? His and hers? Joint everything? Ours. Budget loosely 2) Do you use a spreadsheet? Mint.com? Quicken? A notebook? Mint.com 3) How do you handle savings? Automatic transfer? Transfer excess at the end of the month? We have automatic savings for some things, but I also like doing it manually. We don't often have much left over at the end of the month right now. 4) What do you do with "found" money (birthday gift money, tax refund, etc)? Usually it goes to our Vacation fund. Sometimes we'll have something that we've been wanting and we'll get that. Tax refund goes to topping off efund and Roths usually.
