You need to speak up. If you don't want people, say no. Give them a point in the future where you think you will be comfortable with visitors. Tell them what you want and what you don't want.
You had major surgery. If your mom wants to come and will be a help, then tell her. Great, I have laundry, cleaning and cooking for you to do while I sit and hold the baby.
Your husband needs to handle his family with the same parameters.

I can only answer the drinking one. Ha.
I do have a drink now and then. Usually not more than one, but I have gotten drunk once (Halloween party.) I am on a really low dose, but I didn't notice that I had any problems with alcohol.
Talk to your dr if you feel like you need more help. It can't hurt to ask.

Mine has done the same. I've added a pump before bed to make up the difference in what she drinks during the day and what I'm pumping at work. I have about 50 oz in the fridge and it should get me through until 1. ( dd is almost 11 mos)
Dd seems satisfied when she's with me and nursing and she's eating a ton of food, so I'm trying not to stress about it.

We went through this and it sucked. I just kept saying what you say- that hurts daddy's feelings, etc.
We have a fairly even split on time alone with the kids, so it wasn't that.
He out grew it around 4? We had then do a lot of things together that were special. Movie dates, trips to Disneyland, etc. now they are obsessed with playing Legos all the time and that has really bonded them.
Then, I decided that after having to settle for regular Ben & Jerry's ice cream on Friday night (Mr.Kirkette went to two different stores, and both were out of Cores), I really needed a pint of Cores. I couldn't decide what flavor I wanted. So, I bought myself all 4. $20+ of ice cream for myself. That's a new one!
Target has cores? I think we need an afternoon outing!

My supply has really gone down. However, I think it's because she isn't drinking as much from the breast. She won't take a bottle any more, even from the daycare lady, so they are just putting breast milk in a cup. When I'm home with her, she nurses maybe 4 times a day?
Did you see a drastic reduction in breastmilk/ formula intake close to a year?
She was eating a ton over night, but now we've been sleep training and I'm not feeding her overnight.
For the record, she is 30" and 21lbs at almost 11 months so no issues on size/weight gain.
Dd and DS have super fat feet. We had her measured and they said to get wides to accommodate the chub. I also use the next size up Robeez and avoid Mary Janes.
The jardin du luxembourge (sp?) has an awesome park and there is a pond where you can rent boats for 1 Euro and push them around the pond with a stick. It was so fun for DS ( he was 3 when we went) he also LOVED the "neiffle tower" and riding the carousels in front of it. We also took the bateau bus which he enjoyed.
Crepes were the winner food, though he also liked bread.
I think I have DH convinced that we would need to stay Saturday night as well in order to have one full day (just for FP timing.) We only have enough hotel points for one night, so he is researching hotels, but it looks like max spend on that would be $180 or so, not bad for two nights and a flight to DL. Eek!
I want to try and surprise Finley, but DH is insisting I bring the stroller, which means I would haul it to Aspen next week and she would know something was up.
