Attachment Deleted new playhouse! They were so excited because the one they got for their last birthday blew away in a storm this winter and shattered. Attachment Deleted
It was great. Linus had some issues (that's another post some day...), but it was fun. It was just all close family and a cousin. Her dress didn't fall apart and she didn't want to take it off at the end of the day so it was a success. Lots of pics coming because I'm an AW.
I'd just wait, but we didn't bring the kids to the hospital to meet ruby. The first day was so hard after my c/s, then I got kicked out early on the day we were planning to bring them. I was kind of sad I didn't get that moment , but it was just as special for them to meet her at home.
I was so proud of Linus for his picture of an "elephant". It's the first time he's drawn something intentional that kind of resembled it (2 eyes and a trunk). I facebooked it and texted it to my mom and sisters. I didn't realize why everyone giggled and LOLed until DH came home and told me he liked Linus' drawing of a cock and balls. Woops.
I had my dress cleaned and preserved and one of the girls is going to wear it dammit!!! I'm telling myself it's classic enough that they'll like it. I don't like dogs. I want to. I grew up with dogs my whole life, but I just don't. I think I'm just more irritable since having kids and all dogs irritate me.
Reading through this whole garlic thing, I thought people were referring to a specific brand of garlic called Jarred that I was reading as if it was Jared - like the guy from Subway, as opposed to garlic that comes in a jar. The whole time thinking 'I'm ok, I don't use Jarred brand garlic" **Reading fail** LOL
ETA: I DO use garlic that comes in a jar, so I guess I better go back and re-read about whether or not there is formaldahyde!
OMG thank you. Until I read this I thought damn this Jarred brand is really popular. I've never heard of it. In a jar. Duh. I'm tired.
We use liquid Zyrtec. The allergist got snarky today and said they don't get seasonal allergies until they're 3, but I'm not buying it.
Lol. Then why on earth did my allergist tell me to put Thad on Zyrtec?
I know! Our pedi recommended it and it helped soooo much. We took her off of it for her retesting and she's been scratching every day. Sooooooo??? He's supposed to be some head honcho, but he's an ass and I need to find a different one.
Thanks! I'll post a party pic. I just finished it last night and showed her on the way out to her allergy appt this morn so haven't had a chance to put the finished one on her.
I've sewn a bunch of other stuff, but clothes have always intimidated me! So I bit the bullet and made Fiona a "minnie dress" for her bday party this weekend. She is in loooove! I showed her and she yelled "MIMMIE!!!!"

My ob took the steri strips off at my first visit around 1 week pp. Until then I was told to let soap and water run over it or lightly wash with fingertips after I got home. At the 1 week appt she told me I could start cleaning a little more. The tape reside just came off in time as I felt more comfortable washing the area. I've pretty much always had numbness there since Linus so don't really know what's normal with that.

With the other two we were out right away. It's not the being in for all newborns that I subscribe to, it was just hearing about death after death from the flu on our local news.
