I'm sorry, I can't remember who else is dealing/dealt with a milk allergy or intolerance other than Dahli.
DAMMIT! Linus and Fiona had already started reacting by this point so I thought (hoped) we might be in the clear, even though the odds were slim. Ruby's started getting bright red cheeks and chin after she gets a bottle. L&F didn't have this symptom, but google-fu tells me it can be a sign of a milk issue. Her reflux is picking up, she went from never spitting up (like MAYBE a teeny little bit once a day) to curled spit up numerous times a feeding, and she's starting to get a lot fussier. She's always been insanely gassy, so it's hard to tell if it's gas or an upset stomach.
Did anyone have the red cheeks and chin happen? It goes away and looks normal in between feedings, but comes back while she's drinking. It's red and warm. Is this just an allergy symptom or can it go with an intolerance as well (still holding out hope).

5 for kindergarten, nothing public/free before then aside from need-based gov't programs. It sucks. Preschool and pre-k are freaking expensive for a non-church setting.

I would never red shirt unless there was a specific problem you were addressing. NEVER for something like sports. I can't get on board with that at all. I was 4 when I started kindergarten (turned 5 a month after it started) and was always one of the highest in my class. I graduated 4th in my class so I don't buy that being the youngest means you're automatically at a disadvantage.
Yes, I could see them through the new link. I love them! You look so peaceful too, lol.
That would be the morphine... I tried to pass the one pic off as "look how cuddly and in love I am with my newborn" but I'm 98% sure I had fallen asleep.

I definitely cut them. I cut in quarters for both the kids. I'm not even going to admit when I stopped cutting them in eighths... Ok, last week. I choked when I was a teenager and have a GIANT fear of choking. Like Tamb level fear.

Only 2 months later.... Can't complain though since this was all free. Local photog is expanding into birth photography and wanted a c-section for her portfolio so she did the c/s for free!!! I thought it would be weird, but absolutely love having these pics and will do it for the next one (if there is one of course ). Then as a thank you for letting her experiment on us she did the newborn pics. Originally she said we'd get 5 newborn pics, but she gave us more. We have everything in black and white and color and got almost 200 pics total! Totally made my day after a crappy crazy week.
We will be PT'ing Linus soon. I was in no hurry and was not about to start while miserably ginormous and pg or with a nb. Convenience for me or not, I don't think it's a big deal to wait.

The more I think about it the more I think I'll try it and see what happens. That way some of the toys with little pieces can stay together instead of getting buried in the pile. It's so refreshing to think of only having a normal amount of toys strewn on the floor.

I think the problem is that l and f were the first 2 grandchildren on either side so everyone has gone freaking insane with toys. Every holiday I ask people to please not buy toys and get useful stuff that we need, but noooooo. I think I at least have that taken care of for their bdays. I think at this point rotating would be easier than trying to keep it clean because there are so many toys in such a small space that they don't play with most and it's to the point that you really can't clean them up! Throwing the days worth of toys in a tub sounds heavenly compared to what it's like now.

This has gotten absolutely insane. Like, I would be embarrassed to post a picture of all of their toys, and there are still more boxed up!! I boxed some up a couple times "to rotate" and never did because I think there were still too many out. So I was thinking about leaving the basics out (kitchen and food), cars, blocks, and having a tub for each day of the week. End of the day throw everything back in and switch. It's the only thing I can think of aside from selling the majority of the toys, and I hate to do that because they still play with all (most) and the ones they don't play with are you get that ruby will one day. How often do you rotate if you do? I thought about rotating again because the preschool talked about how they have different toys out every day.

Ours is just a teeny family party, but I'm a sucker and want Linus and their cousin to have a gift too so am doing favor bags. She's having a minnie party and I'm doing crayons, coloring book, mickey/minnie straw cup, mickey ears, and stickers.

and since there were no cracks that I remember I don't know what the inspector would have known about it if the foundation is ok, unless he missed something with the foundation. You only hear it when it's windy and it wasn't windy when we bought it.
