2. Ask yourself what is in it for these people to use it? Do they need information they can get more easily now? Does it work better for them the way they are already working (e.g. it's mobile, or they are in SFDC already so it's right there?) - emphasize those elements. If the answer is it's going to be a searchable one-stop shop, but not until they put info in there, then you need to start populating the info for them so that they see the value and take it over long term. If there's no good answer in this section - their leadership is going to need to make them do it and it's going to be a serious uphill battle.
3. How do they do this stuff today? Can chatter work into that cadence?
If you are staying downtown, there is a train called Metrolink that would get you close enough to Covina for a reasonable Uber. It's pretty easy to navigate.
ESFy4m It's been ages but alyseya's apparently developing a new bag, and of particular interest to me, specificly mentions things POPing and also having better straps.
I got my old bag strap fixed. Just took it to a cobbler and it's not perfect but nobody is ever going to notice it. But I do kinda want to buy my sister a bag for her law school grad present...I don't think this timing is going to work though. And she'd probably prefer not leather anyway...since she's a vegan.
So dagne? Yeah?
I’m following that page too! Super excited to see what she comes up with. I loved those bags so much I was also getting my cobbler to fix them. But they were still so heavy because of the leather. Once my travel got truly heavy I switched to Lo and Sons and I find those indestructible and so well designed. I just got my sister one too.
I don't think there's a way to lock editing a part of a document, so if the pictures are in there and these people have edit rights, they can edit them.
You could use the link method described above but link to single slides in a shared slide deck. That might be easier to manage vs. 35 documents.
Hey sidenote - who is the official board mod for ML? There's no one listed... a request has been made to pin this thread, but that's board moderator territory... not mine.

I’m in tech Sales and comped on a global number. My company just paid me the commissions as though I’d been working (in reality our deal cycles are longer than a few months anyway, so the deals closing were ones I had worked on before leave). They wouldn’t have done that for an extended leave, but for 12 weeks they did.
1. Global mods can see the email you register with.
2. If you show your ass here, we might use it to google you.
3. If that were to happen, and we were to come back here and reveal your name or contact information, that would be a violation of your privacy
4. On the other hand, if we were to come back here and describe your work photo as “what a sketch artist would draw if their only instruction was ‘draw a woman with a gigantic stick up her ass and a nose wrinkled like she can smell her fat poor clientele (or is it the poop on her fingers?)’” - that would not reveal personally identifiable information and therefore would not violate your privacy.
I meant , can the people who posted the picture in this thread get rid of it. I appreciate you just posting the link. That big ass picture is very upsetting, considering history.
Yes, I will do that. I'm sorry that it upset you.
I went ahead and removed from the places where it was quoted as well. It’s linked if people want to go see it.
It is worth asking about soy/edamame specifically - that would have been tested for separately as it is one of the top 8 allergens. Given how conservative this family seems to have been in the list, I’d be shocked if they are relying on people to know that soy is a legume rather than directly listing it
How I Built This just came out with an episode on The Knot that I’m about halfway through. Funny that I can’t remember why we left—my only association with the exodus is “blow me where the pampers is”
I've never heard of "seeds" as an allergen category before. People eat seeds from a ton of very different kinds of plants. Seeds from what families of plants, or from all plants? Does this include grains, strawberries, cucumbers, quinoa, etc?
Sesame allergy is the most common outside of the top 8 you usually hear about. And there is evidence that the seeds we typically think of (sunflower, sesame, mustard) share similar protein structures and so theoretically can cross react, but it hasn’t been well studied.
It sounds like this family is taking the most restrictive possible path (eg counting coconut as a seed and extending peanut to all legumes—both of which are fair categorizations based on my knowledge, but definitely on the conservative side). Maybe they have reason to do so, or maybe they are just scared and extra cautious.
I found that zoodles were great for the early BLW stages - they are just easier to pick up. We sent all kinds of veggie spirals, or roasted chunks of squash, and then eventually pastas, meatballs, etc.
I certainly wouldn’t mess with my own car for that spot. Uber and Metro are both easy ways to get around. I always take out of town folks to the national archives. It is often overlooked, but there’s something about seeing the real constitution and Declaration of Independence. They have other really great historical letters and other artifacts as well.
Old town Alexandria is lovely, but you are so close to Georgetown—if you want a charming cobblestone walk that should also do the trick.
If this post disappears, it’s because I requested to have my post history deleted. I don’t know if she can leave just this post (I asked), but I’m worried about this one combined with my others being easily tied back to me..
So if it’s gone, that’s why.
Thank you so much for all your support and kind words.
I’ll do everything before yesterday if that works. I can do it by date.. give me a few minutes.
