I don't have much advice because 4.5 y old DS is in a pull up at night. He physically can't hold it.
You could try waking her in the middle of the night and taking her t the bathroom. This always scares me, though, because I don't want him to start partying in the middle of the night.
We used the cares harness up until this summer with DS. I don't think we'll use it again until dd is ready for it.
We just bought the high back booster for travel. He meets the requirements, so I'm fine with it. He's in a 5 point harness at home, but it's so heavy I just can't bring myself to travel with it.
I only considered the Odyssey and Sienna. I looked at both about two years ago and I'm thinking that it was how the middle seats configured in the Sienna that sold me on it, but tbh I don't remember. What it really came down to was that I was able to get a base model Sienna for a price the Honda dealer said he couldn't come close to. The 3rd row seats in the sienna fold totally flat and the 2nd row push all the way up to make a huge cargo area. I don't know if all are like this, but the seat tracks are totally flush to the floor, so all floor space is totally clear.
The moving seats in the sienna almost pushed us there, but the dash swayed us to the odyssey.
Yes, he stayed. He went home at one point to shower, change and pet the cat. DS was with my in laws, but we would have had him stay with friends if there was no family around.
IMO you HAVE to rent a car on any Hawaiian island other than Oahu. There is very little in the way of public transportation and there are so many neat things to see. There are some hotels in Ka'anapali that have shuttles to Lahaina and other the mall, but having the freedom to explore is huge.
We stayed in Ka'anapali at the Westin when DS was 2 and it was great. We're going next month and staying in Wailea, but we have free nights at hotels there.
I'm super lax about food. as long as she's getting her bottles I don't care as much about solids. Generally, she gets something at breakfast and something at dinner. We're doing a mix of purees and BLW.
We have a dual sided organic crib/toddler mattress. It was a nice mattress for a great deal at Costco online, but if it had been way more expensive, I don't know if I would have bought an organic one. 2.5 years and we've been happy with it.
This exactly, except it's almost 5 years old and on its second baby.
