Yeah there wasn’t any discount on my monthly bills. I need to call. Also we have a vehicle that is un drivable/literally in pieces and has been on a pause plan where we paid like, $5 a month. And now they say the can’t do that anymore. Ugh. The dmv is closed so I can’t ask them if there’s a different option
For our progressive credit , it was paid out after the end of the month. It wasn’t on our bill. It was credited to our bank account directly.
my daughter was highly allergic to dairy as an infant. When i was BFing I couldnt even have butter, it would set her off.
She outgrew it completely by 13m. Also, I stopped BFing at 7.5 months (figured out the allergy at 6weeks old). It was REALLY hard to be 100% compliant with her allergy and I just missed pizza and ice cream. I tried the non dairy formulas but they didnt work and ending up on an RX amino acid based formula that worked for her. It was $$$$ but my insurance paid for 70% of it. It was neocate I think.
I hope your LO outgrows them!
It interesting you say this because DD gets one overnight bottle of a few ounces of Alimentum and every morning without fail, no matter how many prune purees she ate that day, she has constipation. I has assumed since alimentum was hypoallergic it couldn't be the cause, now I am wondering if the constipation is a result of that formula
It made my DD really fussy still, same with the other brand, nutramagen? Her pedi wrote us a RX for the neocate and it ended up being cheaper than the Alimentum bc insurance paid so much of it. If insurance doesnt pay for it, then it is like $1k a month. Neocate is specifically mentioned in my insurance plan as covered, so try searching your insurance plan for it.

So I don't have a swimsuit that fits me. The only one I have I bought 4+ years ago and I have gained weight since then. I am plus size and finding a swim suit that fits is so fucking difficult normally. I think trying to order online would be a nightmare and a bunch of failed attempts plus returns. We have an inflatable pool we put out in the summer and I'd love to have a swimsuit that fits me.
It's just kind of made me think of when I would feel safe doing something again like going into a clothing store to try on clothes. Our retail stores are likely opening at the end of May. It isn't a necessary purchase. I would like to think that sometime this summer, it would be ok to wear a mask and walk into Lane Bryant, which is a standalone store, to try something on. But I don't know.
(I know this is not an important thing, buying a swimsuit, it's more just me musing about when we will return to doing activities over the coming months).
I get the struggle, FYI my state is open for retail but they all have their fitting rooms closed. Even target has theirs closed
Have you thought about doing a reoccuring loss panel? it'll check for things like blood clotting issues, MTHFR, gene mutations etc? My insurance luckily covered it and I think it was 10 vials of blood but it did tell us a lot.
I've had it all done in bits and pieces. No blood clotting disorders, lupus negative, etc. etc. I will have to ask my OB next time I see him if we did MTHFR because I'm not positive we did to that.
Not joking one bit, I've had about 50 new Instagram followers in the last week that are monat, beachbody, arbonne or oil huns. It's like their upline must be telling them to just follow people since we're all getting fat and can't get our hair done. My IG profile specifically says I'm anti-MLM yet they still follow.
That said, there are similar products to color street that they sell at Walmart (I'm told) that are half the price and just as good. I keep meaning to look at Target since I don't shop Walmart because they're not shitty products, just shitty markups.
The inococo brand at Walmart is owned by color street. So they are just as good I’m told (never used but have used color street)

My husband wears the academy brand called Magellan. They make long sleeve wicking upf shirts. I think less than $20. Columbia also makes some but more money.

I love the casual explore type shorts from Athleta. They are $$$ but I have 3 pairs and they are basically all I wore last summer (Bali linen short and one similar to the farryon short).
Also spring break away shorts from lulu are great. Quick drying, elastic waistband, etc. super comfy
I keep wondering if we should refinance. Our minimum payment right now is ~$1750 with a 3.625% loan (taken out in 2015). We overpay by $500 per month because we can, but I don't love the idea of a 15yr because then we'd HAVE to.
Our broker email us a no cost refi at 3.125% today but it doesn't seem like that's a great rate based on what I see here. And it only ("only") drops our payment by $320. I can't tell if it's worth it and if we'd cut off that much time by refinancing.
That’s the rate we got 2 weeks ago. I’m happy with it but our rate was 4.375 from 6 years ago

My DH is one of the ones that makes more on UE than being at work. But we BOTH want him to go back ASAP. And we are praying he does (airlines industry so who knows when that will happen).
This extra $600 is only around for a few months, we won’t be getting rich off of it at all. Just paying bills and trying to save a bit of it for when he won’t get the extra $600 Bc we are uncertain when he will go back.
I have family in Gulf SHores AL and she MIGHT be able to get a 1 bedroom condo or studio for $1k a month during that time since its their low season. Not very walkable tho.
my ILs live 7-8 hours away. We will go see them soon (our stay at home order ended recently). We will drive there with one stop on the way. I am PG and this is one of our last chances to see them before I am restricted to no travel. After that, i have no idea when we will go after the baby is born.....it should be up to them to come visit us then in the fall. Actually for the birth I really need my MIL here to watch my DD for us.
We canceled our gulf shores memorial week trip. My sister is a doctor and would have to self quarantine if she left the state. We will still Go with my DH and DD just stay at my MIL instead. (She’s local)
The only thing that bothers me in this scenario is the grandmother. I would 100% take a child in this situation. But I would be PISSED about grandma, and the fact that the family (presumably) didn’t go through ground rules with her or give you a heads up that she was arriving.
These people sound clueless in general though. Their plan A was to leave their child with people the child doesn’t know at all? For several days/nights? Even without Covid, that’s a terrible plan for their older child who is about to have her world turned upside down with a new sibling. Making sure our daughter felt safe when l was in the hospital with her brother was a priority.
Grandma was supposed to come 2 weeks before due date. But even if this was their Plan A....that doesnt make them clueless. They could have NO local family in the area, and they might be new to the area and dont have close friends yet. I have NO local family to me, so if I deliver early (good chance) she will have to go to a friends house. I am LUCKY to have these friends, but I am also aware not everyone has close friends they would leave their child with, so they have to choose other options. That is NOT worthy of shaming them.

I would get your AMH tested as well. Usually that’s done on day 3 of your cycle.
I have never heard of getting testing done or hsg with an IUD in. Not to say it can’t be done but we had to be off all BC. (I have bad endo too so I get it). But you could get testing done on day 3, and then HSG same cycle, usually day 7-10 I think? Then start treatment next cycle

If you have an envelope and scale at home, you can print postage with tracking online at usps website. It’s cheaper than going in person and you can schedule a free USPs pickup online too
No, but it has like a scotchguard (they are very eco friendly so it’s seeming else) that keeps it from staining or absorbing liquids. It’s my oldest seat, the lightest color (pale grey, the others are all black) and it looks the best.
What happens if a kid pees or pukes in the seat? Can you really get it all out?
The Clek Foonf is $$$$ but I’ve had a bunch of other convertibles and straight up FFing seats and I prefer it a thousand times over. In fact, DS2 prefers it too. He always wants to take the care with the Foonf and not the Graco slimfit.
It truly is worth it, especially for a kid who will get years and years out of it.
The Fllo wasn’t around when we bought our Foonf, but I hear they are awesome too.

make sure if you accept paypal that you do "friends/family" so you dont get charged a fee and so that people cant contest the transaction. Most people are dumb when it comes to paying with Paypal so I prefer Venmo
