It was fun, I guess. I went to 4 proms but my senior one was fo' free b/c I was on court. That and my dress were the best parts of it.
We always had ours in this shitty ballroom at a nearby college. The food was decent, though. H's prom (well, non prom b/c they didn't like what the word "prom" implied) was cool. It was at the local museum with pretty tasty food.
Apparently none of these proms that I attended were like a lot of yours lol. I got my hair done, did my own nails, and then took pictures with friends and parents for like an hour.
H and I are staying here this year and having other Thanksgiving orphans over, 6 people total.

Self-deprecating? Please. Big butts can be amazing.
But not in every kind of pant! I have a huge butt and I love it. Let's face it, though, half the people who claim to have big butts do not actually have them.
I'm going to assume that you probably have a small butt and are just self-deprecating lol. Minnie Pants just because popular the last year or so. Around 8 years ago a few stores tried to come out with a similar style and they all tanked and dropped it until recently.
I'm a libertarian and think both main parties suck because they are hypocritical. Sure they both want to cut spending, but not on their favorites. I want to reform all of it because it's all out of control and unsustainable.
I think most people dress poorly for their body types. I don't dress myself in trends because they look good on maybe 1% of the population. Example: J Crew Minnie pants. Only women with small bottoms look good in them. Small-Bottomed Sisters, by all means wear them! Just stop telling the rest of us that OMG ANYONE CAN WEAR THEM. LIES!
Most women look better with a little makeup and it's best when kept natural. It's supposed to enhance your natural features, not make you look like a whole other person.
Being tan is overrated. I think most people look perfectly nice with their natural skin tone.
I really think ENTJs like myself find it much easier to lean in. I've also read that we are the only personality type to have zero working mom guilt, which helps.
Yes. I find it almost hard to comprehend how hard it is for others to lean in.
I am an ESTJ, but very similar in most regards.
Same. I have to even push my supervisor to advocate for herself. It blows my mind.
I gave it up for Lent (flame away) and made a post. Mostly b/c I have relatives that freak out if I don't respond to their message/posts within a hot second.
It look like she is trying to pull the claire (House of Cards). I am currently sporting a similar haircut, but IMO mine is cute lol.
her's is too styled. It needs to be sleeker. And the bangs need to blend with the back.
More this.
I love JL's new haircut. Maybe she's going for Claire Underwood (I have the same cut as Claire) but I like it this way, too. I definitely think it's more interesting and sexy than her old hair.
Leave a check for the service and cash for the tip and label it? We've always had independent people, I think.
Do a walk through with the cleaning service and explain what you'd like done, if you haven't already done that. Point out things that shouldn't be touched (like fragile things.) If there are rooms that don't need/shouldn't be cleaned point those out.

H's family: book/treat exchange for siblings/parents. We used to buy gifts for everyone but that got way out of hand with H having five siblings and all of them having spouses and children, etc.
My family: Immediate family and mom's brothers - we're much closer to them. One is single (and a priest) so he doesn't have a small family of his own to buy for and the other only recently married for the first time so it's just normal for us to take care of him, too.
If you're legitimately tired when your alarm goes off, go to bed earlier. It'll take a few weeks for you to get into the right pattern.
If you just need more time to ease into the day, get up and take a shower immediately. That will help wake you up and then enjoy coffee, read the news, etc.
TR, get a real therapist. It will be costly but nothing is more important than your emotional, mental, and physical well-being at this point. I'm not going to advise you on anything else. I think it's best to just wait to make any decisions until you've met with a licensed professional.
She'd be surprised she got married at 23 to a guy who was not from the "approved" pool of guys (nothing big. It's all incredibly stupid.)Other than that, though, I'm basically what I wanted to be in broad terms.
I think I've told my parents how much I make but they are just fine on money. They also know H is a grad student and we live in HCOL so we're pretty broke. I also know how much my brother makes. It just doesn't really ruffle anyone's feathers. We all have different lives and different shit we have to pay for. Plus, in my family, you don't just fork over cash for your parents. If they are broke enough you take them in (which could be a whole other slew of problems.) There's no blank check action here.
