Just as a FYI, I've seen the report and will be ignoring it. The statement of facts does not equal harassment in my opinion. In fact, when GBCN started, our only real rules in regards to deleting, banning was mostly for spammers. I can link to why we don't ban/delete for anything else if need be.
If people want to change the rules, it's a possibility, but to be honest, I don't think the admins are around anymore, and I can't IP ban.
In fact, I'm not sure most of the global mods are around either, and I could use some help with approving new posters and reports.
I still show up when called (DMed) like Beetlejuice. But for this case, Dick Move is the law. I can do a full board wide ban or nothing (the one board bans are a fancy EllieArroway skill I don't possess). I couldn't find HIH if my life depended on it.
So basically, Dick Move I am at your service on this one.
Because I can't remember, is Ellie able to IP ban?

I missed a flight once because I got a flat tire on the way to the airport. I had just bought the car and didn't realize there was no spare. I had to wait for AAA to tow it, and get another ride to the airport. Luckily I was able to get on the next flight out.

DS1 - Hybrid by choice. He's a 9th grader at a technical high school, so only goes in person during trade.
DS2 - Full time virtual by choice (4th grade). The school is currently in hybrid mode, with full time in person starting next week. After parents in his classroom sent their kid to school waiting on test results, I pulled him out. I'm hoping with the vaccine and improving numbers, I can have him back in school by March.

On the subject, I think we need more or new Global Mods as well. If I don't check the admin for a few days, I come back to a list of new members to be approved, and usually some reported posts as well. Sometimes the reported posts are already dealt with, but mostly not. I try to look everyday, but sometimes it's not possible.
I've been wondering about this. I pay Geico my 6 months up front, not monthly. I paid in Feb. and will again in Aug. I bet I won't get any credit either. I'll have to call them (even though I really don't want to lol).
We pay Allstate in 6 month installments also and they calculated our refund and credited it directly to our checking account (around $22)
We have some small company bundled with our homeowners. I paid the entire year's premium upfront on like March 20th. They won't refund anything. Ugh.

I'm in New Haven county, CT. We are about a week into re-opening at Phase 1. I was happy to see most people are wearing masks in the grocery store and the like. Regular retail stores (places like TJMaxx, Old Navy, etc) are still not open, neither is dine-in dining (only places that have a patio for outdoors dining are allowed). Our numbers have continued to go down, but I'm really worried things are going to get a lot worse come the fall, then we'll be on lockdown again.
We've been taking this whole thing seriously, and I have to say, I'm getting increasingly annoyed with people who aren't. Like my ILs who live next door and were told to stay away from my SS, who then turned around and went to SS's mother in order to see him. They have taken NO precautions, and always have people over, not maintaining 6 feet distance at all. I honestly thought my H was going to lose it yesterday.

They alert you when it's ready, and then you let them know when you are on your way. If you are doing the drive up, they'll ask the color and type of your car and to hit a button telling them you are there when you get there.
I've never had my orders take more than 2 hours to be ready.
For the water thing, maybe people are worried the power will go out? That doesn't seem too likely, but if we did have an unrelated outage, it's possible it might take longer to resolve if the power company has less people working. If the power goes out, my house has no water.
I tagged all of you guys so I can post this, as I didn't see it in the thread. This stuff works damn near instantly and its made it so that future cold sores are just tiny bumps that never even erupt. Its been over a year since I've started using this stuff and I haven't had a single noticeable cold sore since.
Its expensive but its not hard on your kidneys like Valtrex can be and I believe that if you order it directly from their site you can get a rebate for the full price.

Valtrex really does work. Another thing I do is take an un-medicated hydrocolloid patch and stick it on. I change it out as often as needed. I've found this really helps with not touching it, and shortens healing time (for me anyway). This obviously depends on where exactly they pop up, for some reason mine tend to come up right under where my lip meets my skin.

I'm worried about the e-learning our district rolled out. I think it's great they are doing something and it seems like it will work well for my 8th grader. It's my ADHD 3rd grader I'm worried about. I work full time WAH so it's business as usual for me, but IDK how I'm supposed to work and help my 3rd grader with school from 9-1. They had a testing day today from 11-1, and I had to help him a few times. IDK, I wish they had gone with the packets like they did for the K-2 kids.
I had a Samsung fridge and had to fix that icemaker problem right before I was trying to sell the house. I had the worst time even finding someone that would come and fix it. I must have called about 10 places before I found someone willing to even look at it.
I'm supposed to leave for Disney on Wednesday. I wasn't planning on cancelling or really worried, but I'm seeing a lot of threads about major conferences getting cancelled and people not flying, and I have to admit, I'm getting a bit nervous now. I don't think I'm going to cancel at this point.

People amaze me. My FIL lives next door, and his 2nd floor is a small apartment he rents out. Currently, it's being rented to a guy probably about 10 years older than us. Apparently, the renter asked my FIL last week if it would be okay if he asked my DH if he got his own motorcycle insurance, would my DH let him ride his motorcycle?
We don't know this guy at all. He hasn't lived there long, and I don't think my DH has even met the guy yet. I was just like... who asks this type of stuff from strangers??!
I have a toaster oven that has an air fryer selection. I do like it and use it a lot. I'm not sure I like it enough to purchase just an air fryer though. I have enough things on my counter lol.
The only thing that worked for me was going on spironolactone.
I'm on this now and can't say I feel like it's working much. How long did it take before you see results?
OP - I'm 38 and have had acne since I was like 11. I've been on accutane twice and still get it lol. I have tried cutting out most dairy. I don't drink milk anyway, but I cut out ice cream and cut down on cheese. It didn't work, and I hear it doesn't work for a lot of people.
Have you talked to your doctor about spironolactone? I've heard it really works for most people.

My DS is 12 and uses his phone as an alarm clock. I do shut his phone down at 10pm via FamilyLink, which still allows me to call and text him and his alarm to work, but he can't do anything else on it.
I'm 99.9% sure my MIL has been committing fraud on tax returns. I'm not a tax expert (neither is she, I thought she was a CPA this whole time as she owns an accounting firm), but what she is saying does not sound right to me. Does anyone know if CPAs have free consultations? I really just need to ask one question. The whole situation is shit show.
On her tax return or on other peoples' returns? Either way, that could be a mess.
I have not run into CPAs that give advice save friends/family. You can call the IRS advice line, I have had success with that in the past for my job (I use to help international students apply for tax ID numbers).
Definitely others, but my main concern is my DHs returns. The IRS advice line is a good idea, thanks!
