I am an admin assistant and love my job. Mainly because I only have 1 co worker and a boss and then three people I oversee. It pays well and I don't have to speak to anyone usually besides those 5 other people.
Edit to add: this is why I stay. If my boss or co worker ever leaves and I have to speak to more people, I would not enjoy it.
I am having a softball+ sized one removed in July. Mine is semi solid and will be done robotically. (And put into a bag first to contain it, which idk why I find that interesting lol)
My oncologist told me for ovarian cyst + ovary + tube removal I will be looking at 4 to 6 weeks recovery time. Mainly so I don't lift anything heavy.
But he did say it will be much the same as gallbladder surgery.
After I got mine out I had horrible bloating and the worst gas pains. It felt like razor blades moving through me. It lasted off and on for a month or two and then it went away and never came back.
Does anyone know how to get a Roku to stop telling me there isn't enough space to run hulu and other apps when I have never added any other app channels since buying the stupid thing? I have deleted everything and the only thing that works is netflix. Otherwise I get that damn error.
I have unplugged my wifi and replugged. I have connected it to my phones hotspot to see if it was our internet. No go there either.
I had it done sept of 2017. Twilight sedation. I remember waking up crying from pain but once I was fully awake and orienteded, all I needed was normal OTC pain pills for a day or two. No lifting heavy stuff for a few days or over exercising.
Huh. I never knew mahi mahi was dolphin fish but when I googled, I recognize the fish.
I don't eat fish or go to fancy enough places to be offered dolphin (lol) but without "fish" attached, I would possibly think "omg people eat dolphins?!" And then Google so no one thought I was an idiot.
We were supposed to get 1 to 3 inches. We got 7. The 45 minute drive took 2 hours. Passed several stuck big rigs, abandoned cars, and several accidents.
My part of PA just...gave up. They didn't prep, they didn't plow, they didn't salt or cinder. It was a giant mess.
We go in spurts. Mainly for weekend breakfasts. I can't keep a constant supply in the fridge or I will gorge myself on it. I have 0 self control around it.
I hate getting up in the AM. I am a night person. I set my alarm at 630am so I can hit snooze 3x (for 15 minutes total) then reset my alarm for 645am so I can snooze 3x til 7am. Then I get up at 7am.
I am very much pro snooze. It helps me feel like I am cheating time somehow lol!
If my Husband has a 2 or 3am wake up time, he will set 4 alarms at the quarter hour starting at like 1am. Now that drives me nuts, like damn, just get up! But only because I selfishly don't want to be woken up at 1am. Lol.
The Moth has a collection of true stories told by the real person. Some make you cry, some anger you (for their injustice), some make you laugh, some inspire you all stories from every nationality and walk of life. It is one of the best "podcasts" I have found.
I just started therapy and have only gone 3x so far but I enjoy it. I had attempted several times before but needed to get to a point where I wanted to talk vs someone suggesting I do so.
She took all my history and just has let me spew my disorganized thoughts and feelings and has helped make game plans and dive into things.
It has been a positive experience and I hope yours is as well and that you will enjoy it/that relief of knowing someone is in it with you who can help!

I shop mainly Torrid and Lane Bryant cause we lack severely in plus size stuff around here where I live.
Torrid always has some kind of sale. Lane Bryant is hit or miss.
However..if you DO like LB..their real women dollars start September 28 thru oct some time. If you shop there, I can mail you $50 worth (50 off 100) cause I need to step away from there lol
I think the only way I would ask for it back is if I was going to offer to buy it back. Realistically, she may need the money more than the quilt but don't ask me how to tactfully broach that subject.
I am sort of stuck on the part where the OP didn't finish the other couple's quilt because SHE didn't like the colors the bride picked. But I also get how boring it is to work on something you feel "eh" about. So I am mainly just giving shit about that. Haha.
Opera fudge is where it's at. All other fudge is crap. (Lol)
But I never realized people associated it so specifically. I grew with people making regular fudge for holidays, at all kinds of sales, at the local candy stores, and all the Mennonite stands. It just..was another candy option.
