I LOVE WHEN YOU POST KITTY PICTURES ON SOCIAL MEDIA. They are the cutest, haha.
When I foam roll or stretch when my niece or nephew are over they think my body is their personal jungle gym.
Additionally, I thought of you during my entire swim today. I was like "man, this is tough, I enjoy swimming but I am SO slow and it is exhausting. how the hell did mrs.jacinthe swim ten miles last summer??"

Here's something sort of H&F related to start. I've had some tightness in my rhomboids lately, so I was foam rolling. And this happened (doesn't everyone need a little extra weight above the roller?):
My realtor definitely didn't do this. And honestly, I wish she would've. We limited ourselves in looking because she made our upper limit a hard line rather than a suggestion.
I don't think that's fair to the realtor. When we were looking we said we wanted to spend no more than x. And every house we were shown was at most x. I didn't want to see any houses over x amount.
Most realtors are very respectful of their buyers' budgets (except for in house hunters lol). If the number you gave to your realtor was flexible you should have communicated that.
I would respectfully disagree. Part of being a realtor is reading your buyers and getting the "why" behind the want/need/nope. One of the things I always ask during a first-time meeting, immediately after "what's your budget?" is "are you open to seeing homes slightly over that limit or is this a hard line" with the caveat that I would not show them a home I thought would *sell* for over their budget.
For example, if you have someone with a budget of up to $750k, not showing them the badly priced home at $755k would be a disservice, provided you've discussed this prior to showing them the home.

Have you looked into a bridge loan? Basically, it's a loan to cover your hiney on a new home until you can sell your old one. Definitely worth considering.

Roxy slip ons, BOBs, or the Payless Airwalk Dreams, which come in wide, but I find run quite large (as in, I normally wear a size 8, but my airwalk dreams are 6.5W). ETA: Just checked the payless site and the dreams don't come in wide any more. (I bought my last pair in September). Never mind on those.
wait, do you all not have your hair up when you put your cap on??
Nope. Ponytail holders under my cap give me headaches. So I pull all my hair to the back and twist it so it sort of stays together, put on my cap, and then stuff all the hair under. It's not a very glamorous process.

People who drive around in convertibles with the top down and windows up. Um. If you're going to be annoyed by wind, maybe don't buy a damn convertible or at least don't put the top down.

I've tried it but I don't like headphones while swimming. I mostly sing to myself, like kams. I want to try bone conduction audio if I can swim again, so I can do books on tape during long boring pool swims.
I generally don't count laps any more, as I lose track when I'm doing the super long swims. I used my misfit this year as a general "how far did I go" tracker, instead. So it wouldn't hurt me to be completely distracted while swimming.

Welcome back! I haven't been around much either, as I've been struggling with work/life balance lately. Congrats on that promotion and baby and new house!!

I have inherited a half (ish?) finished afghan from MIL. It's a baby afghan her mother started at some point (probably in the 70s or 80s) and she wanted me to finish it, but turns out it's crochet. I can crochet, but it's so terrible for me that it is definitely not ever going to happen for this blanket.
So it needs to be completed by someone else. Our LYS just closed, so I can't ask there. Who do I ask to find someone to finish this project? (It's sort of crochet entrelac). I'm willing to pay appropriate prices to get someone to finish this. I have the pattern and (I think) all the necessary yarn.
Terrible quality pic so you can see what I'm talking about ...

Jerky, parmesan crisps (the kind made with *only* parmesan cheese), cottage cheese, icelandic yogurt (I like the 4% siggi's in the low and flat-ish container), and peanuts - which are pretty much the only commonly available "nut" with more protein than carbs.

For me, a good swim workout is one where I conquer something; whether that's hitting a target pace, correcting an error in my form, or even learning to let go and enjoy the stuff I hate doing (I'm looking at you, breaststroke).
My mentality last year took a huge step forward when I learned to let go of any sort of negative thinking and pursue my goal with positivity.
I'm trying hard to stay there, even though I haven't been in a pool since October. Every negative has a positive if you look for it.

We have Owens Corning Duration in Sierra Gray, which is not labelled as a "cool" roof (because they don't have the light reflecting granules), but it is light enough to qualify based on sheer light value alone. (OC does their "cool" roof shingles in darker colors so you can get a darker look without sacrificing the energy efficiency.)

Call the dealer. R's Forester had been in that boat since October, and when we called to ask, they scheduled us for replacement the next week. Apparently they've had the parts for a while but somebody dropped the ball on the "we will call you" part.

Finally finished the Hermione's socks I had hibernating for months! Just in time for Easter! (They were supposed to be a mother's day present last year. )

Most of the silvery gray colors I've seen lean towards purple. Some ideas, though:
BM Shoreline, BM Wickham Gray, SW Light French Gray, Olympic Thin Ice (which does lean purple but is a very light silvery color), and Behr's Silver Screen color (which is what some home theater aficionados swear by for projector screen walls).

Ask yourself this: if the tables were turned, would he stay with you? If you were unable to wait on him hand and foot, if you were unwilling to seek help, if you were unable to keep things running like a well-oiled machine, would he stay? (Hint: the answer is no.) You owe him *nothing* at this point. You have been more than patient. It's time to walk.

I like our faucets from faucetdirect (which is a build.com site). I don't know that you'd be able to get what you're looking for at the price you're looking for, though. You might try calling build and seeing if they have any deals or offers available you may not know about.

I'm already dying for R to find another job. He's crimping my work-at-home style because I feel like I need to offer for him to come with me when I do stuff, plus I have to eat real meals instead of a couple spoonfuls of peanut butter or something. It's ridiculous. Argh. (And YES, I know this makes me sound ridiculous. I'm ok with that.)

I don't have a basement, but when we lived in Ohio, if the square footage was part of your homes calculated sqft, they just included it as a check box in the rate calculations.
