I loved my wedding. Although the church was probably ugly (lol), the reception was at a beautiful historic landmark with no gap, great food/drinks, a photobooth, and delicious cake. We had a jazz trio play at the reception; some people danced, but it wasn't a wild DJ party like many weddings are. I do think some people might have been bored by the low-key reception atmosphere, but it's what DH and I wanted. Plus it gave us the chance to mingle and actually talk with our guests, instead of shouting over loud music.
We are boob twins countthestars! I've always referred to my right side as the "superboob" - always feels fuller, only drains fully from the pump and not the baby, etc. The other morning I pumped 8oz out of that side in just one sitting, which sounds like a bragplaint, but is so uncomfortable.
I don't have much advice, but wanted to commiserate, and will definitely be trying some of the tricks posted here.
Thanks to the 30% Cartwheel deal, I bought a bunch of baby/toddler clothes (some regular, some clearance) at Target today. When I checked my receipt, it looks like everything rang up as 30% off, even though clearance was excluded. Not sure if it was a computer glitch or what, but I'll take it.
I am kind of annoyed by people who "support" a cause by changing a fb picture or doing the ice bucket challenge or any of those things. But they don't actually do anything real to support the cause or help real people. It just seems fake.
Ugh, sorry @starry. I've definitely had a few of those moments with DD since the baby came.
DH started his new job today after an awesome two week break in between old/new jobs. We had several fun family outings and it was so helpful to have a second set of hands around. Really, it was perfect timing so soon after DS was born - almost like a second paternity leave. Unfortunately the new job is starting out with a bang and he's flying out for a business trip tonight. I'm a little nervous about being on my own with both kids for 3 days, but also psyched to starfish the bed and catch up on my tv shows.
I think it was jenny1980 who posted a knockoff of the LLR leggings on Amazon; I ended up buying the fleece-lined ones and they are so incredibly comfy.

Only if we are working or playing in the yard, or DH is doing a project in the garage. Our neighbors leave their garage door open ALL the time (including overnight) and it seems so careless, especially with bikes, strollers, cars, and a boat in plain sight. We live in a safe neighborhood, but you just never know who is lurking around.
We started TTC when DD was 19 months old and were fortunate to get pregnant on the first cycle. We were shooting for a 2-3 year age gap between kids (DD was 2y3m when DS was born).
Now that DS is here, we are both firmly convinced that we are 100% done. DH is being a little hesitant to pull the trigger on a vasectomy, but has agreed that it's our best option for permanent BC. Hopefully it will happen within the next six months or so.
I find myself using IG much more these days. It's the best part of FB (pictures) without political bullshit, MLMs, or advertising. The privacy features are better/easier than FB, too.
